Hello everyone! Hoyoverse has officially announced the special program date for Version 5.1, which will be held this Friday, September 27th. Along with that, they have also released information about the adjustments and optimizations we are receiving in the next patch. In this video, we'll take a look at the new quality of life changes being added in the 5.1 update.
Starting with the new time-limited area exploration rewards. According to a recent post, in future versions, there will be limited-time area exploration rewards whenever a new area becomes available. Since there will be no new areas in Version 5.1, we're getting free primogems for completing exploration in the current patch. For the new areas in Version 5.0, which include Basin of Unnumbered Flames, Tequemecan Valley, Coatepec Mountain, and Toyac Springs, we will get a total of 400 primogems after meeting certain conditions. So, what are these conditions? Well, they're pretty simple. You will have to explore at least 80% of all areas released in Version 5.0.
If you have already met the exploration requirements during Version 5.0, you will be able to claim these rewards as soon as the new version is released~ but please note that rewards must be claimed by the end of Version 5.2. And here's a reminder: the extra limited-time rewards for the Version 5.0 Archon Quests and Tribal Chronicles will no longer be available after October 8, so don't forget to complete them.
Moving on to the Spiral Abyss skip feature! Starting from the latest Lunar Phase of the Spiral Abyss in Version 5.1, beginning October 16, we will be able to use the Skip feature!
But you need to meet the conditions to quickly skip to specific floors! The first condition - you must clear Floor 12 with full stars in the previous lunar phase. For example, let's say you have cleared the current Abyss phase with 36 stars, so when the next reset happens on October 16, you can skip Floors 9 and 10, and start doing the Abyss from Floor 11 directly. They have added a new feature called the 'review pop-up', so you can claim all Chamber Bounties for the skipped floors directly via this feature.
They have also optimized the Character Building Experience. At present, you have to constantly switch between different screens when building characters and collecting materials, making the whole process a real headache. In the new version, they've optimized the character building experience so we can view and craft all required character development items via a convenient one-stop interface, making the calculation process much easier.
They've released a demo where Paimon says that, to reach the next level, Paimon needs a certain number of materials. We can also find and calculate Character Ascension, Weapon Ascension, and Talent Level-Up materials individually. The calculation will display both the quantity of materials required and the amount we currently have, reducing the amount of effort on our part.
Next, the custom Artifact Filtering for Characters. To help us quickly choose suitable Artifacts, they've also optimized the Artifacts interface. When you perform operations such as sorting and filtering Artifact sets or affixes of an Artifact component, your selection will be saved. The next time you access the Artifact selection menu for that character, the results of your previous selection will be displayed automatically, without you needing to adjust them again.
When you acquire new Artifacts and re-enter the page of a character for whom a filter plan has been set, the newly obtained Artifacts will also be sorted according to the filter plan that was previously set. This will help you find the Artifacts you want to use more quickly.

Nice they look after artifact it's a good thing for every player in genshin.
Not sure if I'm happy with the limited time exploration rewards. Like, 400 primos in exhange for losing your privilege to reserve your world's primo reserves. I'm the type who reserves my primo resources till a time to necessarily exhaust them comes. Also, I can see what we are being made to do here. We are being made to dry our world of primos so that when we see we got lots of primos we will be tempted to go gacha addiction and will just find ourselves surprised that we no longer have primo reserves from our world. 😒 But perhaps this is not a bad idea if what I suspect happens. I'm guessing they'll release Venti in 4.2 and maybe Yae Miko too. If it is the case I might really have to dry my world of some primogems. Good thing Fontaine and Liyue and The Chasm are not fully explored yet.

Also, I'm not gonna skip Spiral Abyss floors 9-10 even if the skip feature comes. Like, I like doing those floors and using older characters to end them.

@@Jade.051 Aside from Grouping Xilonen is straight upgrade over Kazuha in all of his teams except aggravate. Not to mention her buffs last 15 seconds whole kazuha's are 8-10 sec.
