Looking back on this. I know for a fact rocky blackballed purrp. Back then I thought purrp was better then rocky fr sonically not lyrically lol Even though their styles complimented each other, you can tell where the sound and style really came from. I believe rocky may have felt he would’ve surpassed him or stole his shine. It’s wack that egos and pride robbed us of what rocky and purrp could’ve done sound wise.
