Pam, Your outlook on life inspires me. I was also diagnosed with ALS but over the last few years, it has changed to PLS. I am plagued by survivor's guilt. Your strength and that of your girls is admirable. I also, have 2 girls and although ALS is not our reality we understand. God bless you all.

MRI is not a diagnostic tool for MND. A EMG perhaps

"relentless caregiving." great no one said you had to do it. what if it was you?? relentless sounds so resentful and angry. i was diagnosed 3 days ago. i am 68. will my small family help me? will they consider crushing medicines and helping me into bed RELENTLESS?? this makes me want to disappear and not burden them until i slowly suffocate. nice. thanks
