@God Love hss doesn't put more humming sound ps gives a more fat tone unlike sss , which are pretty annoying sometimes if the amp isn't of good quality. Although sss has more 'strat' type sound and kinda sharp sounds.

Btw fender champion is pretty good choice but as you're talkin bout a processor too then it ain't gonn make much difference unless you've been playing for like professional purposes and doing band shows you know. I'm planning for a Harley Benton st62 or an affinity or a bullet HSS. Instead of a processor you could buy an interface plus monitors and trust me it's a great buy and you can get a hell lot of effects

SSS = More clarity and twangy, sounds sharp but as any vintage Strat. HSS = More muddy and heavy, but humbucker always sounds darker to me, anyway it's my impression about single coil vs humbucker pickup comparison. SSS All the way to me.

The frets on mine do NOT catch my fingers; they seem fine. The (satin finish) neck must be one of the slimmest necks among the Squier Strat models. I like the higher output hum-bucker bridge pickup as it helps to stand out in the band for solos and lead parts. I also like that the Squier Bullet is light weight! The hard tail (no whammy bar) means that it's less likely to go out of tune. Any reviews I've seen don't mention that the tone controls control the middle and the neck pickups, but my bridge humbucker pickup is NOT controlled by EITHER tone control. :-)

I’m stuck. There’s like a loss of midtones on an HSS, but it’s more versatile. The SSS is perfect for clean tones and pop music, and that’s more my style, but I’m scared I’d be missing out if I ever wanted to play rock.
The neck , neck & middle blend, and middle positions will sound IDENTICAL on both guitars. The HSS sounds fuller in the middle & bridge blend and bridge positions will sound different on the HSS - because of the humbucker in the bridge position.
This is why it is important not to use a lousy guitar amp to do a comparison. A better guitar amp will make both guitars sound way better than what you hear here.
This is more realistic. Most people buying one of these cheap guitars cannot afford to buy an expensive tube amp that sounds great. A small, cheap practice amp that doesn't sound great but doesn't annoy the neighbours is perfect for the majority of beginners.
@@johncollins5552 We are in the 21st century, amps are boomer technology, an audio interface goes for around 100 euros and you can pirate an amp sim for free. People who still buy physical amps are either rich or do it due to ignorance.
Nice comparison but this amp is so terrible it's insane (I know I have one), Marshall really tricked a ton of beginners with those transistors series. If you are a beginner and watch this video: Squier = YAY Transistor Marshall= big no no, get yourself a Roland, Boss, Peavey, Blackstar, Fender or whatever but stay away from marshall for cheap amps.

You should have not used a noise gate in this video. It almost hides the huge difference in amount of hiss between a single coil and a humbucking pickup. I usually hate humbucker tone but since I first bought a Bullet Mustang with the same humbuckers I had to buy a HT Bullet strat and put a pair of humbuckers from a Mustang in it and now it's my favourite among the half of dozen strats I own.

I was going to install a coil split pot for the HSS but I changed my mind after seeing this video. I love the HSS sounds of the HSS better.

С хорошим комбо усилителем все равно hss или sss. Даже на один сингл можно накрутить адский плотный перегруз

I have the HSS switching between pickups middle and neck I don't hear the difference I heard with yours.
