I’ll be building an enclosure for my A1 combo. Now I know that I’ll be adding some extra lighting and perhaps a cheap WiFi camera for viewing multiple angles. Just ordered the combo today and can’t wait for it to arrive.
Hi You mentioned wapping or large volume prints bending at the bottom surface. I just found out that you need to adjust your advanced settings "Elephant foot" option in order to distribute large format print ratios evenly Sincerely Ejike
I had the A1 too and that camera was worthless compared to the X!C. I will always miss the easy nozzle changes, the songs you can customize when the printer starts and finishes a print. The open air AMS was the main reason why I returned mine and we both bought from Microcenter and glad I did. Didn't have the box and was past the return window but Microcenter still took it back and gave me a full refund.

Hello, excellent information video, please, could you tell me where those yellow accessories are downloaded, I loved them and I would like some for mine. or you will have the stl. thank you
I've had mine a few weeks and printed lots of different things. Wide, small, flexible, abs, pla, petg... Not had 1 single problem. It is in a custom Ikea enclosure I made tho so the space is quite warm.
@@alessiopaoletti9809 I used the METOD fridge freezer cabinet. Put 3d printer on the middle reinforced shelf. I bought this because I also wanted a draw for used up filament and a high shelf for filament storage. I also bought a couple of extra shelves and used glass pane doors for the middle enclosure bit.
Thanks for the video man, you helped me decide which one to get! What are the fold-up wall mount tables you are using? I looked on Walmart, but not sure which one? Do you have a link? Cheers!
turn your slow layers up to stop curling, had to do that for petg, must measure your item set the initial layer height to a fair amount, if only we could stop the fan around the corners for prints like that
I just ordered the A1 also. Should be delivered in 2 days. I'd say keep the A1. I know for me I have watched alot of reviews and the A1 is the go for me
I'm thinking on getting one on sale now, for hobby use, i do want to print one thing that will end up being a big square like that but I'm hoping with enough duck feet brims and maybe a cheap enclosure from ali express I might be able to print it without an issue.
Do you think I should still wait for the A1? I don’t have much need currently for the P1S’s enclosure. I also was wondering if it’s worth it to spend the $500 (after shipping and taxes) more for the p1s combo. I do really want to get into multicolor printing. I have dealt with so meant issues on other printers I just want a really reliable multicolor printer.

Well for big prints like those lightboxes, you need an enclosure. Even just throwing a carboard box over the printer does the job

Can you describe the custom Ikea enclosure you did, or maybe give the name of the Ikea product you used? Thanks in advance

haha so much poop on the floor... It can't be helped I suppose. would you recomend A1 for a farm vs the P1P/P1S?
No, I think the pas is the best value combo
For a beginner do you recommend Bambu Lab A1 with AMS?
I bought one and I'm very happy with it.
If you mainly print PLA and PETG the A1 is perfect IMO
Where did you get files for the side tray and braces on the back? Do they help with supporting the printer?

What did you get?

Good luck sending them back 👍 they never answer over there 👎 please make a video after you manage to send one and got your money back 😉
It took over a week but I finally got a return label send to me...its been in the mail since friday so we will see how long it takes.
What filament and infill did you use for the Ams riser?
You could print outlet covers for those exposed electrical outlets woo hoo!
definitly want to see 16 colour print :o
You keep saying AMS, what does that mean?
Automated material system
It's the filament management system that is on top of it.
A1 is sooooo quiet…. Bro, if I have 4 X1 Carbon and P1S. I’d return the A1 too and get A1 mini for quick small print. 🤣
So wait I just ordered this A1 combo. I have never printed before.. should I keep it or send it back and get the P1?

I just ordered the A1 combo. What did you end up deciding to do?
First
Do they send you a trophy for that?

I’m still waiting, and hoping they may fix their camera upon rerelease
The p1s is incredible if you have experience with other machines. It will change your life!
@@timothyjones7907 I bought one a few weeks ago and have been loving it!
I'll buy an A1
