Sweet work Dude, I do the same type of stuff down around the Atlantic City area. This is exactly what I like to watch. Keep up the great work Thanks L.U. 322
Emin, Good Job. Ive had those types of bearings seize and pretty much weld itself to the shaft. The only way to get it off was to use lots of heat and cut it off.
Yo I have a question, if I wanna replace a bearing, how do you measure the old one? Or do you just get the middle and serial of the unit and give it to your supplier ?
If you clean polish, and lube the shaft first, you wouldn’t have to work so hard to get the bearing off. Also, if there was any wear or galling on the shaft where the bearing seats, the shaft should have been replaced.
Yeah the big jobs you have to wait for your money. Steve like you said in the commercial field you have to watch your tools. I had 2 drills stolen from me
+Emin HVAC lol i ben watching alot of ur videos u do call bolts nuts alot but i do the exact same thing even when i know its a bolt, bolts an nuts go hand in hand
Rookie or dumb as duck lol clean shafts first. Then u only need to break it loose and will slide off. Also have cut or smash casting then puller fits onto bearing itself. I have done hundreds of these . Easy work made look difficult for sure
And I always wondered what those extra holes were for in the pulley hub. Your video is an great tutorial. Thanks.

And flywheel instead of pulley
correct it is flywheel, pulley is in the motor, blower side is the flywheel now you learn
Someone greased the shit outta those bearing
Or you could go get the PROPER PART so the next guy isn't rigging it like you and the blind helper did.
