It's a cover. This sounds something DJGodary use to record years ago, cover tracks, instrumental demos that he shared with others and gather vocals for, later reproduced and mastered then released separately. It was up on his old websites and shared around SH fan forums and mainly facebook pages that is where I know him from too. Eventually he closed the website that is why can't find it anywhere and his YT videos were deleted due to copyright bots. Some of the recordings that he performed live with his band were brought back you can check it out in his playlists or type silent hill on his channel's video tab, but most other demos etc are gone. Also I doubt this is the original file but more of a MP3 rip, since it have deadnoise in it and even static, this is someone recording through a phone mic streaming music from PC speakers so basically leaked it without permission. The arrangement sounds like it have 3 or 4 layers of the same guitar all at once, once again proves it that this is a one person's performance all layered.
I see my friend is already ahead of me. XD And yes it does sound just like one of my old demos (one of many) just also have noise in it too so it's not the original file for sure. Also yes it have 3 layers, as in it demonstrates that it's intended to be played by actual 3 guitar players live (we also needed a singer but sometimes performed instrumentals instead anyways). The guitar have a dropped D tune too, to appear deeper (as a bass) usually for the rhythm parts while covering high notes on the ''other guitar''. (note: Even with only two guitars this composition would sound really dumbed down, so 3 is the barebone minimum) Dropping the tune is something I liked doing for a long time on my acoustic arrangements. Even tho sometimes the guitar would be out of tune on purpose so it would be not exactly a pitch perfect dropped tone... Anyways rambling aside this pretty much does sound just like it. Come to think of it I am not sure if I even will be able to dig out these old files anymore and even this one surviving for this long is a pure miracle in my book. XD So thank you for sharing this with us and thank you for reaching out. I yet have to check out your other videos, see you have some covers of things that I am not really familiar with.
@@DJGodaryD86 thanks so much for sharing this info! You're a legend for creating such an authentic and original rendition of Akira's piece. I legitimately thought it was from the offical OST! Superb job. Thanks! Yeah I like indie and alt mainly, and my covers are kind of random and progress diary of sorts. Always waiting for some time to record. I dig your stuff and look forward to more
@@lartensgrill6106 Thank you on the kind words and yeah I tend to do my best as much as I can and whenever it's possible. Also true that we need to share and preserve works such as Akira Yamaoka's and what others around him did and note what inspire us too. On a related note there had been lots of struggles to preserve anything due to legal and logistical matters. Even today the same things is happening over and over again, when I share with someone some SH music often I get a response ''it's not available in my region'' so blocking things isn't sharing. So yeah not sure why they do this but it's happening. We do what we can.

I need a tab that overflows with love
Sounds nice! You have pretty good drawing skills, too! You are very talented.
Thanks a lot, you too!
yo can you send me the tabs, you are the only acoustic cover and it sounds insane. props up
Unfortunately don't have tabs... I don't know if DJ Godary made any for it, as it's his cover...
Bu çizim tüyler ürpertici ve kesinlikle 3 boyutlu grafiklere göre daha ürkütücü😅
🤣🤣🤣
