Dave Hause is an artist that is constantly growing and evolving. I've grown up a lot over the years while listening to his music. A lot of the songs could be playing in the background of life. He manages to capture the reality and rawness of life.
Anyday with new music from Dave hause is a good day 🎶❤🌹🌹🌹

LoyalGirl LoyalGirl Sorry to hear that, i didn't mean to bring up any bad memories, i was just curious.
He probably called you lil firefly because you were his light in the dark? You were probably really important to him.
I didn't know your brother but you talk lovingly about him, and he didn't deserve to go out that way. He was probably to good for this world.
In japan i think fireflies are (in myths etc...) believed to be the souls of the dead who fell while battling, something your brother probably did a lot of.
I don't know how much you believe about that stuff and i am not going to push anything on you, but next time you see fireflies maybe thats him telling you it is his turn to be your light?
Even tough the world is kinda bad, remember there are a lot of good things to live for and experience. I wish you all the best, and i hope things like music can bring back good memories of him.
Firefly Desiree........ I've only listened to two of his songs, but I couldn't stop thinking about how much my son would have liked his music, and how much he and my daughter, his younger sister would have bonded over his music....... He passed away 9 months ago, also from suicide..... And his sister was also his light in the dark. That thought was very nice Domen Kay. I hope you don't mind if I think of my son and daughter that way too......
Domen Kay -So I now just saw this comment a year ago and it completely brought me to tears. I wish I would have read this at the time because that honestly was exactly why he called me his firefly and why everytime any firefly is mentioned I smile a little cause I think of him. I’m now gonna look at fireflies as his way of being here for me. So thank you so much that, you don’t even know how big of an impact that has on me. Thank you so much a year later that truly made my day and the other night I had a really bad night because I was thinking of how badly I miss my brother so reading this now brings me immense comfort.
This artist needs more recognition. This is an amazing song.

Ik know, he still is... Plays Groezrock on Saturday. His live shows are amazing and full of raw emotion and punk rock energy.
@@vinnievoet1846 Dave, along with Brain and Chuck, is a very talented songwriter that wraps his lyrics up in fast, up beat punk style music that very often disguises how deep the words go. A slower song like this that comes along maybe once or twice per album really brings the lyrics to the fore; although since he started doing solo stuff thats been more prevailent anyway.
