It does point to JESUS, because the holy scripture shows us that inspite of our evil intentions, GOD, thru what JESUS'S, resurrection was unavoidable, .

The sacrifice of Jesus is sufficient to redeem all mankind and that includes the ones that God hated. Isn't't it amazing that hate is an emotion that is also sometimes akin to love (passion??!!). And Jesus the Christ definitely died for these and if The Edomites will accept Him as Messiah, they will be fully restored to their God, it is still their birthright. Amen.

Isaac's Oldest Son is described in the books of Genesis and Obadiah almost word for word how the Native Americans describe the Sasquatch People.
Herod was an Edomite and king of the Jews under the Roman Empire in the time Jesus was on earth. Maybe it is significant that a descendant of Esau played a part sending Jesus, a descendant of Jacob, to the cross?
I noticed the name of AMALEK. In JEWISH tradition AMALEK is portrayed as a very EVIL man whose entire kingdom had been abolished almost completely under the command of GOD .

I have both the 'New International Version' & the 'English Standard Version' & neither of these two square up with yours.
