There's many ways of looking at this...obviously if you're in the same house/apartment sleeping, eating, etc., there is a clear & present temptation of proximity that is added to wanting to be together. However, if you're living cross town, if you're yearning to be together, you'll find a way! Proximity just ups the ante!

But really ooo, I seriously did not get the same neighborhood and same street issue. What if my spouse was met next to my apartment? I get the living together but the neighborhood and street thing is funny because they called it unethical not ungodly.

If you don’t visit each other regularly and when you do you always visit in an open place. And you both have the spiritual maturity to know that your visitation is not for the sole purpose of doing anything that both of you will regret. But if one knows that their partner lives in a particular neighborhood the person should have sense enough to know that it’s an uncomfortable thing to also find a house there except both of you were living there before you fell in love. This was why the pastor was shocked “the same neighborhood” because they know Ben wasn’t living there before but if Ben was there before I don’t think they would be mad.

its a nice movie but there is error, we churches are full of man made docterings. we should first be spiritual i mean genuinely born again, then we can hear God for ourselves. God does not work with roles thought by men. we have to be careful not to take the position of God on earth. stay safe.
