this is imo one of the best episodes of Survivor ever. this tribal with Malcolm persuading Reynolds to give him his idol is INSANE in itself, but it is much better in the context of the classic Andrea-Eddie exchange after which Stealth-R-Us changes the vote from Malcolm to Michael. the fact that Malcolm voted for Reynolds is a cherry on top :-) yes, Caramoan was controversial but this was a stellar moment.
The crazy part is that Malcolm seemed to think the vote split was between Reynold and him and not 7 on Michael, and that he could get on the majority good graces by aiding the split. So essentially he asked for Reynold to give up his idol to the guy who was trying to SPLIT HIM OUT OF THE GAME. And Reynold fucking did, with a smile. I LOVE that

Phillip made a speech right before the vote that made Malcolm realise that everyone knew his plan so then he voted Reynold cuz that's what the majority alliance told him to do, he asked for Reynolds idol because he thought he would need it (which he would have if Andrea hadn't switched the vote)
