Biden regime isn't interested in peace, he will never let Ukriane negotiate , especially after we sent them all this money and weapons to destroy Russians.
Plus we haven't been this close to full on regime change and chaos in Russia since the 90s, though back then we weren't able to fully balkanize them, im sure this time will be easier to install a puppet in Russia that's not so blatant about selling them out to us like Yeltsin was.
We need to hang on bc if Putin falls Russia will become very weak and thier alliances in Asia will crumble, making it easier for us to do the same to China with Taiwan serving as the catalyst.
Once China and Russia fall, the others ( India, Iran, N Korea etc) will fall in line giving birth to a true global Western Hegomony ran from DC benefitting all Americans for hundreds of years to come where we will be able to spread our liberal values and help poor people all across the world.

The understanding that Nelson Rockefeller built the Dominoes of the Capitol Mall as well as presided over the Empire State for a while as Governor, seems to imply that profits to the Proper People is the imperative that the State embodies?
You do not get elected to serve the average Human resident of the State of New York, without some restrictions on your ability to damage profits that Wall Street demands?
The Conflict in Ukraine was designed to enable sanctions, the sanctions were supposed to drive Russia out of the Gas Business that they had developed over the last 50 years of assembling a pipeline web that serves Nations from Greece to Germany, and the ability to convert some of the Russians gas to profits has actually been indicated as flowing into Britain.
Overcoming that system and replacing it with LNG from the US and Qatar, seems to offer profits to the Investors who struggle to finance their investment in Fracking up some excess Natural Gas in the US?
As in Vietnam and Iraq, millions of Humans will die to enable a small number of humans to make a buck. The oil company investors will profit and we will continue to question how such a lovely Nation as the US could infect the world with so much hatred and lies, to promote killing innocent individuals for profits?
We do need to question the basic social system of Capitalism to find answers?
The Professor seems to diminish that issue.

First, I live in Croatia, eastern Europe...and situation here is the same as in the USA - our politicians lost themselves, every process is organised from the USA and now I think they are scared and because they lost the ground - this will end bad for them, one way or another. But, key point now is peace....and people like prof Jeffrey Sachs, dr Jordan Peterson, and even Tucker Carlson (I know many of you will not agree with last one...) are gold standard in todays geopolitical chess game. Through history east Europe always have some differences, as any part in our planet Earth, and the need for influence from third side inside is great mistake, because we always have enough problems inside and not need influence. What we need is smart words from honorable people to understand once we all have the same goal - living in peace in this planet - and to understand that every, but every human life is worth to be safe and equal to other. For me, and as I see here last months (as this war not end) neither Russians are the enemy, neither Ukrainians are allies. So, thank you so much for this interview, prof Sachs is brave man who really knows what he is talking about....stay strong and together and hope is all we have right know, bye

Joe has backed himself into a corner in regards to Ukraine, similar to Lyndon Johnson in Vietnam.
He cannot admit he was wrong about anything, otherwise he is finished.
And he lacks the awareness and personal integrity to have considered it before he made these choices.

True but Joe isn't sending Americans to die in Ukriane, and like I've said before and many Americans agree with me is that we will fight Russia to the last Ukrianian.
Also we are directly weakening our biggest historical enemy, so the older people like it bc they've hated Russians since birth, and the younger people like it because Putin is a war criminal who doesn't respect liberal values.
We have no wide spread protests either, Biden has been running the show very well imo and kept the media on script too, if Biden was a republican he'd be impeached by now, but democrats can get away with a lot more lol 😉

The solution is within the USA’s framework of foreign policies. The US is the one that drew up policies to weaken USSR and now Russia, together with the UK got a few EU nations to collaborate in attempts to break up Russia into smaller pieces in order to distribute the power to plunder Russia’s resources. If Russia has policies like that for the USA, do you not think the Americans would react the same as the Russians now? And pray tell why did the US approved a budget of 300 million for the media to smear China? Dismaying, indeed. And they do so, so much to push the narrative, fanning the flames; it's astonishing. And there are numerous journalists regularly echoing Professor Sachs words. Biden, et al, truly seem to want to be sure Putin is perceived of as the evil, somewhat lunatic-like madman ready to send nukes if he's backed into a corner. Putin has NOT spoken about using such weapons, as he is accused of. That's coming from Biden. Follow The Duran, Patrick Lancaster, Brian Berletic, and many others for insightful discussion., and on the ground reporters/journalists like the brave Eva Bartlett and Patrick Lancaster, interviewing those in areas shelled regularly by Ukranians, as they've done since 2014, and earlier, but especially since the coup of that year, with U.S. input. Scary, scary times indeed. And MSM of the airwaves and print should be prosecuted for all the war-mongering, misrepresenting, outright lying, re events, now, and especially the history leading to Putin's February aggressive moves.

This was one of the most disappointing presentations I have heard yet from a person as distinguished as Dr. Sachs. My mother worked on the staff of Prime Minister Waldemar Pawlak and NATO didn't approach Poland for membership as you clearly stated, but it was President Lech Wałęsa who in 1993 said it was imperative for Poland to have security guarantees from NATO since the newly formed Federation of Russia would not offer any. I am sure I do not have to remind you of the abuse the USSR acted on to Poland. President Lech Wałęsa was the initiator of NATO membership and not the other way around. I can even present to you the original draft of this proposal if you have doubts, but its easy to find since it is public record and recorded in Warsaw. Prime Minister Pawlak even started an initiative called the Partnership for Peace program and wanted, and got, assurances from NATO (I'll paraphrase the exact assurance: the possibility of joint military exercises, participation in peacekeeping and humanitarian operations, and consultations with NATO partners in the event of threats to their safety.) NATO never asked Poland to join and NATO did NOT approach the Baltic States on expansion.
I only went on this tangent because you present a rather Russian side of NATO and their goals. I am in agreement that NATO should probably have disbanded after the fall of the Central Party powers in Moscow as it was not a needed alliance anymore. My problem is you neglected to present the factual story of Poland's membership in NATO and make it appear NATO went to the Baltics and Poland and asked them to join. President Clinton did make statements that NATO would eventually have the former Eastern Bloc countries in anyway, which I can understand the provocation but please if you are going to give a history lesson get your facts straight.

They wanted to weaken Russia, sell arms, cause rifts between Ukraine and Russia, install illegal sanctions, follow their plan to main hegemony and US exceptionalism (Nazism/fascism under new management). Poland has its eyes on it's former territories in the west of Ukraine, if it takes those or is given them back by agreement, that part of Ukraine will be managed better, more fairly and less corruptly than it has been for the past 30 years. I suggested this months ago as a circuit breaker, and if l remember correctly Ukraine and Poland entered into a legal pact along those lines that involved ceding the western territories. Poland wants to protect ethnic Pols in the west as much as Russia wants to protect Russian speaking Slavs in the east of Ukraine. Russia does not really want to have jurisdiction over those western territories anyway, they are only interested in lands which it formally had control over or had a cultural investment in, not an economic or ideological one, not withstanding that Kiev was the first Russ capital more than a 1000 years ago. This war or conflict is more of a cultural sovereignty battle for Russia than it is an economic or power geopolitics one. Outsiders do not understand the cultural continuity and pride of the Russians. America for all it pretence, is a mish mash of cultures, a homogenous mix of cultures brought to it (but watered down and almost meaningless), by social out casts and misfits as migrants running from circumstances elsewhere. American "culture" being so young, has little or no depth now, and is dominated by progressive liberal popular culture which is vacuous and is soul destroying. This is why deep down, America and Britain and other nations envy Russia. Russia phobia is in part envy of cultural continuity and integrity and what that installs in the hearts of it citizens.....a true sense of belonging to something meaningful, worth defending and preserving.
To the Russians, other nations may as well be the mongols, with all that implies, in that they behave the same way and want to impose a foreign shallow consumerist belief system on a Russian nation which cherishes self determination and sovereignty. American neo cons don't understand this at the core of their being, because they are collectively, as stupid as both Nepoleon and Hitler in thinking that Russia is ripe for the plucking and should belong to them, as if it is being wasted. It isn't and won't be. The communist system imposed on Russia by nefarious outside forces, was anathema to Russians living now. They are back to where they wanted to be, with the law and the church as a basis for a cohesive society. It is, in their eyes and hearts something worth preserving. I doubt there is a Russian word for fad.

Putin didn’t create the mess. Putin refused to be subjugated by the collective west so he’s the problem?

Because it is perfectly reasonable to launch missiles indiscriminately at city centres if a country wants to join a defence alliance.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth who died for our sin to give us Eternal life is coming back soon. Believe. Repent. Accept Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour of our lives. He loves us so much

AMEN! Death is nothing to fear. Just like waking up from a nightmare. Anyone who's had a NDE knows we're eternal consciousness's of God's light. Either ascend or get stuck in this insane 3D Matrix. It's all FEAR MONGERING. Mr. Sachs is the only one speaking any commen sense, at least who's getting some decent internet airtime.
America are the masters of propaganda.
Never forget, the dudes pulling the strings are Luciferians!!!!
They believe we don't have the resources to maintain our population. It's ALL A LIE!
We no longer can allow a few non humans to destroy us all.
Until you come to terms with the E.T. factor, you simply can't fathom what we're up against. It's simply too terrifying for most to cope with,
