Great post..Whirlpool who makes Amana and Maytag models have the same agitator. The only way you can clean clothes with this type of machine is to use the deep fill water level option which might allow some type of rollover due to the extra water... Other that that you will have a load of clothes that smell like detergent and wet but not agitated which means that they are still dirty..
I usually instruct my family to use the bulky or deep water cycle as the normal wash. The guide under the lid doesn't show a full load for the normal cycle and since we fill this machine up alot we use the higher water level cycles. Unfortunately, the higher water level's cycle turnover rate is even worse.
I have that exact washer with the exact agitator (my opinion) absolutely terrible does not clean good at all i would be better off with a ge filter flo and not this lousy peice of sh*t
Well it wouldn't really matter anyway because if you add more water in this washer it wouldn't have No turn over anyway because it's the agitator is the problem because the fins on the bottom of Agitator have thin smooth fins and that's why the washer has a weak turn over because the fins are Not big and Not strong enough so it wouldn't matter anyway and this washer is a joke and whirlpool is a joke for making this weak Ass washer can't do shit so yeah I agree it is a piece of Garbage No doubt about it you better off washing clothes by hand and you can thank the stupid government regulations for making this piece of Garbage

Omg this is the saddest excuse for a washer ever! Puts a cup of water in and jiggles a little and spins. This is deplorable
I totally get why your not crazy about this washer, poor turnover and could definitely use some more water.

Also I have the same but the agitator is different
No water!
16:54 Or. it’s probably trying to detect if it‘s unbalance. If it is, it’ll agitate around while adding water to try and fix it.

In my opinion and in my experience, a Direct-Drive Washer with a straight-vane or a dual action agitator is better than this one.

I don’t recommend this machine.
That is strong xD
This the one of the worst washers ever! How can it turn anything over without the proper amount of water? This washer is completely garbage!!
