it’s not even necessary to carry guns anymore. Just have nitro fists, magneto, medkits, shields and nitro splash and you win. it shouldn’t be possible to win in a gun game without guns
@@SosaIDK Nothing really, but I find it baffling that the cars got nerfed into the ground while the Nitro Fists just got a mild damage nerf and the magneto power remains untouched. Dealing with these is way worse than dealing with the cars on launch. Not to mention that they kept adding car counters towards the season when the cars were already nerfed.
They should have kept loot pools separate at the start from ranked and unranked and not nerf the cars, nitro fists, etc for casuals, that would have been a win win.
yeah idk, the only people that I see using that shit are casuals. I can't tell you how many times I've easily beamed a bot out of the air who was trying to hard to kill me with the nitro fists, or nuked a car by finessing movement while a casual tries to run me over instead of hopping out. Idk who they nerfed all that for, but I don't think it was the casuals.
If they never nerfed anything this season, 80% of the playerbase would have quit playing. I get that it may have been fun at the start (though I couldn't disagree more...), people would eventually become frustrated with this kind of gameplay.
before clicking the video I thought to myself "here we go again another hate video of the season" but I was pleasantly surprised. This season was extremely fun and different. They got the vibe of the post apocalypse so well, its going to remain as one of my favorites as well!

This season was really fun at launch. And I think if they just kept updating it and added counters to the cars without nerfing them it would’ve been great. But instead they nerfed the cars AND added super overpowered counters (Magneto power) to the point where the cars now feel like they’re made of glass
Magneto fist aren't bad you can kill people that use them really easily nitro fist you didn't have to aim I played a game back and the dude wasn't even facing me when he hit me
The grenade launcher on the car does 75 damage so three hits and your dead if you don't build and you have to hit a car with magneto fists like 7 times to break it.
Can we have a season where guns are actually usable again? Every season it feels like you have to use the new powerful ability items or sit in a vehicle all game
This is the only season where I've played creative more than regular battle royale not including the ones before I joined Fortnite (chapter 1 seasons 1-4) or where I was burnt out. I genuinely only play creative cause this season is baaad. I hope the next season is better but I don't have my hopes up too high.
Liked it at the start but just every update it felt like they were scared about the competitive players. Happened last season too. Loved Zeus lightening bolts at the start but didn’t pick them up after later updates because they got nerfed bad. And now this season I usually don’t get a car anymore and just stick with fists/ magneto powers. It’s a shame they put fun stuff in but nerf them almost instantly
That sweet spot in the season after the EMPs but before the magneto gloves, that's probably the greatest fun I've ever had in Fortnite. Definitely my favourite season but those gloves nearly ruined it for me (that being said, I did enjoy the challenge of trying to take down magneto users, and it was very satisfying scoring kills on them).
I loved this new meta, but so many big players didn't and the nerfs were everywhere and i don't see many cars nowadays. This season was.... Interesting i won't call it the worst there's others I'd put down there.
W opinion. What I'd like to add to this is that they should've nerfed the cars, but only a little bit. Just like, decrease the dps of the turrets and remove the cars and nitro fists from ranked and I would've been happy with the season.
Came back to Fortnite after 5 yrs when they launched chapter 5 season 1. All the ch5 seasons have been pretty good to me. The cars were fun to use in the beginning of the season but I understand the complaints of them being too op. I think with the recent patches things are more balanced. To me almost everything should have a counter and there are plenty of “counters” to vehicles now. Even nitro isnt as op as it was, so everything seems sort of balanced. I dont think I’ll play the next season as much as this season though because I’m not really a Marvel fan.
It sucked at the beginning cause there was no counterplay to cars and most people don't really like the car combat in the game. If you didn't have a car you were dead basically and it kept most people from playing. I came back at the end of the season cause I heard they were nerfed and it was a bit more bearable for me. I really hate the magneto gauntlets though, it's the most boring weapon Fortnite ever put in the game.
This season was definitely the best season I've played in Fortnite by a mile, but my biggest gripe was the nerfs. Why nerf the cars so much and then bring in so many op ways to counter cars. Epic should have at least buffed the cars, especially the Boss Cars, after bringing in the high-impact sniper rifles and magneto power because those things take a good chunk of vehicle health with each blow. Boss Cars should have had regen again after all the counters were brought in

I adapted to combat using them and dealing with people who use them during the first 2 weeks when the season was most chaotic. Agreed. Their main mistake is listening to the haters, trying to make everyone happy. The haters are always the loudest ones, who get the most attention. That’s why they do stuff like nerf the new things, to stop people from complaining and making their game look bad to new players or old players who stopped playing.
@@Iliketoplaygam the problem is that the most of the feedback epic gets is from content creators who are mostly sweats and pros. They don´t get a lot of feedback from theh casuals. The pros and the sweats always complain when one pumping and box, editing, building is not the meta. As a casual playet i liked the overpowered cars because i can´t keep up with the editing and building of these new kids. Next time they should look more to the casual players. These sweats nowadays always cry when they can´t box someone up due to certain items lol

What I hate about Epic Games when it comes to feedback is that they prioritize high-profile streamers and Battle Royale players over Zero Build players. I play mostly ZB and had an absolute blast at the beginning of the Wrecked season, but then we have Ninja complaining about cars messing up builds and SypherPK complaining about losing monetization because of amazing (but copyrighted) rock music at the Nitro-Drome, and then Epic Games made changes that go against the very spirit of what Wrecked was supposed to be.

The problem with the season is that guns became redundant. The meta was completely controlled by overpowered non-gun items such as nitro fists, magneto power and nitro splash. You basically didn’t need to run a gun in any game and you would still be guaranteed to get a good game. At the core, Fortnite is a br and therefore guns should be the central play and the best for elims and external items shouldn’t be the best and fastest ways of killing people. Take the nitro fists. If you got punched once by a nitro fist, it was over bc the nitro fists did 250 damage in what felt like 2 seconds, while your aim was messed up bc of the knock back effect and your gun would’ve maybe broken their over shield. That’s why this season was awful
The boogie bombs were terrible. Imagine being in a bus car driving to circle with all the mythic and then all of a sudden you’re out of your car and you can’t shoot then you get one pumped. Too overpowered.
Also, Fortnite is a LIVE SERVICE game. That means player feedback and ideas are/should be at the utmost concern for the devs. Live Service lives or dies by listening to the players.

Ngl, when they added the emote censorship setting, I lost interest and felt a huge burnout until recently. The main thing that worries me to this day is how much control Disney will have becauseit seems like they already have some control over Epic with what they do judging by how much Marvel and Star Wars is involved.
People don't even use guns they just spam kill with cars, they don't even get out to play the game properly they just spam kill you with the car, this is a shooting game, not a car game, I also hope they bring more marvel skins, i missed out on the marvel skin and i really want venom im skin of the shop being the same stuff
Tbh I liked this season, idc what ya’ll think it’s a change of pace that was needed for me, it felt way too bland before and tbh I was just spamming creative for a long while to get the battle pass done. But this season was cool af to me especially the cars it made for a good challenge to take on without a vehicle. The scenery and setting for this season was cool af with the Mad Max feel to it and then finally adding Metallica, Rob Zombie, and other stuff honestly this one sticks out more than the rest of the seasons and I like it for what it is
Seasons are only 2-3 months anyway, FN should absolutely listen to the community but sometimes catering to both sides makes things enjoyable to no one. I thought I would love this season but it turned into one of my least favorites ever in an already shitty chapter (that unfortunately broke the amazing streak of season 2's). Also competitive players should never be acknowledged for changes to br, only ranked.

I'll go ahead and say that this season is one of my top favorites that I've played. Driving around and fighting Mad Max style with the cool wasteland areas is so cool! Yeah, even after the nerfs its still fun. For those of you who hate and moan about this season, let me lay down some facts. You either don't care for the theme, got burnt out, or you just want a reason to hate so that you feel like you're doing something productive. I know this was a big old rant, but this season has made me realize how awful the community has become and that maybe some change needs to be made to it.
Yes, this season was practically just balanced from the start. People were just scared to play a slightly different game than just building entire city skylines every time they saw a player.

I loved this season at first I loved that it was madmax type shit but the cars and the fist just got so annoying so I personally despise this season since every game I did I just got armed by a car or someone just spammed the fist but I don’t blame anyone for liking this season I can see why people like it
Main thing that I disliked about this season was if you didn't have a car, nitro fist or magneto gloves you where basically a sitting duck if other players did have those.
You may not agree but this season for me it was perfect, the theme, the skins, the cars, the weapons were perfect because the meta was not a shotgun or an AR, it was fresh and new, the game felt different than the other seasons, listening to the haters was a really bad decision, I have low hopes for the next season
Tbh, the season looked fun on screen, BUT it severely lacked with counterplay at first; which I didn’t liked. Then the nerfs came along and the EMPs came, which was okay, sort of. This chapter in its entirety is not going well so far after what Season OG brought to the table and for next season being another collab filled season; I’m excited but not at the extent like everyone else. Especially with how much collabs were featured and introduced throughout the first three seasons.
This chapter was amazing before the nerfs. The cars were balanced if you had mid aim. People were just mad because it was two different. And don’t be pulling you’re not at the game obviously because you said that card because I’m unreal.

The lack of utility items for counterplay was an issue that the majority of players obviously ignored because they always talk one-sided and say that the game is more fun when it’s chaotic. Fine. That’s okay, BUT if there is no leveled playing field when it comes to a player with how they want to play, how could they even enjoy this season throughout? (Build or Zero Build) This is why Fortnite: Reload became a thing and why numerous content creators/streamers stick to either playing Reload or immediately switch to a different game. A success throughout the first week but now I think that this season (let alone this chapter entirely so far) is a complete drag.

People hated the cars not only for being OP, but also because they take no skill to use, and had zero counters. This made it so it felt unfair and frustrating when someone killed you with a car. And the same could be said about Nitro and the Nitro Fists. All around, the season was just bad game design, at least at the start.

Also, I am talking at the very start of the season, where there were no counters. I do agree Epic over-nerfed the cars. Now, the cars are destroyed way too easily if you have Magneto's gloves. In my opinion, they should've added EMPs at the start of the season, just so people actually had a fighting chance when a car rushed them.
Here's the problem: If you don't get fists fairly quickly after drop, your chance of winning is insanely reduced. That's inexcusable, Fortnite. Period. The game is no longer about skill, but RNG. Who's to say that Fortnite doesn't favor certain players over others via their algorhythm?
The first two weeks were absolute GOLD, my duo and I would be cracking up every single match. It was ridiculous, fast paced, over the top and FUN. As said in the video, it felt like Fortnite retrieved that magic that has been lost for quite a few years without having to appeal with nostalgia hooks. Despite all the shit that has been going on after the season's release, I'm just glad that at the very least we got new content for STW :)

Competitive community ruined this season. They got everything what they've asked for. Boogie bombs, Car nerfs, nitro splash nerfs, Nitro fists nerfed, and reload. And most crazy thing is that epic games removed cars and nitro fists in ranked during the summer update, which is good, however, the damage is already done. And on top of that, they call it "All Sweat Summer" event. It's kinda like rubbing on the casuals face, which is crazy.
@ryanfares263 Even tho you're right about reload is not what sweats ask for, however, the mode is super sweaty. Like FNCS type sweaty. Even zero bulids is crazy. Reload is 10x times sweatier than br. 😂 but it's still fun regardless.
I think the test they did with ranked was how they should do seasons moving forward. Have casual be the more experimental mode with all the unique items and abilities, but have ranked be the more consistent mode in how it’s closer to more regular styles of gameplay, where gun play is more important than what items you have.

If the cars and nitro fists hadn't been so unbeatable during the first week, I really think this could've been a unique and fondly remembered season. First impressions matter so much for something like this, and it just left a bad taste in the mouths of so many people.

This season was the first time my friends and i genuinely had FUN. On launch we were truly enjoying the game. We dont play competitively or sweat or whatever. We just play for fun. And it was very sad to see them nerf all that into the ground bc a certain group would do nothing but whine like they usually do when something fun is around
The second they added Magneto gauntlet me and my friends hopped off this game, they started adding everything they could to destroy the meta they created with the cars. The hook, boogies, emp, magneto, nerfed gun mods, and reduced car impact damage. The start of this season was a solid 9/10 chaotically fun season, and then they ruined it because the sweats couldn’t handle the fact that building was kinda useless this season.
The first weeks of season 3 we're SO fun. A brand new meta with the Cars, fun Weapons and Overall just chaotic fun. But everything changed when the sweats complained...
This season was AMAZING it was just the summer season so it lasted longer than the rest and they were on break on summer so the amount of updates we got was surprising the lore was so good and the gameplay was amazing Especially with a squad. Yeah I hate nerfs i understand for competitive its important but for casual nerfs just mean less fun

I actually didn't mind this season. Sure, it wasn't Epic's best work, but like you said, there was roughly enough good to balance it out. The collabs definitely carried this season for me, though, Metallica was amazing Fall guys was ok and the marvel skins we got leading up to next season (the name of it being Absolute Doom) were good. Weapon X along with magneto and the other marvel skins are cool.
No my problem with this season is you can't win through skill anymore even If you're having a great game you could lose and waste the time you spent in the match to a random player punching with nitrofist or cars and die without anyway to fight back with strategy you basically forced to run or die and all you can really do is hop in there car to counter which you're almost guaranteed to take damage doing
Honestly I really had fun and even completed all 200 levels for the first time ever. The boogie bombs didn't overstay their welcome and were fun to mess around with. Cars could've been amazing but they really didn't do it right after the first days. Tesla is so shit tho. The Metallica collab got more love than Pirates of the Caribbean. It added simple stuff and good vibes. Pirates felt soulless. And the story: they had good characters but they haven't done anything with them...
Idk what happened but I'll admit I enjoyed the chaos at the start, now I'm just a bit bored, especially given their mentality to give out free stuff rather than updates, and any items or things I enjoyed have been nerfed to hell or removed, for example Boogie Bombs. I cannot believe after 2 seasons that kept me playing almost every day, the arguably best of the 3 fell off so hard at the midpoint. I'm not gonna get petty as others though, this is still a Top 10 season at least (probably no.10 for me)
I also agree with your main point that they put a big and enjoyable change and stepped back twice as hard to appease everyone. If Reload was at C5 S3s release, I feel the divide between "Sweats" and the rest would be easier to set in allowing for them to actually make the season fun

The issue with the cars is that vehicle combat sucks. It sucks in almost every game. It’s why Arkham Knight’s Batmobile segments are so hated. The cars made the game feel stalemate-y and when they didn’t you’d just get ran over out of nowhere. I agree they overnerfed them a tad but even then I probably wouldn’t have touched the cars after like a week. It’s not hating change, it’s just the mechanics of that change. The Marvel season is gonna be fine guys. The weapons look fun but manageable. There’s gonna be a few pros complaining but that happens all the time. We’re not going to war again.
The reason this season is bad is because it gives bad players too high potential output for little effort. It takes far less skill to kill someone with nitro fists or magneto gloves than it does to hit a skillshot with a sniper. Cars give bad players too much an opportunity to escape without having to work for it. Also, there is far less counterplay to something like magneto gloves or nitro fists than there is to something like wings or the grapple blade. The graple blade didn't get you very far and didn't work as fast as the fists, and the wings made your hitbox large so there was truly a give and take. Again, to summarize, this season provides players with items that, as fun as they might be to use, feel absolutely abysmal to be killed by.
Boogie bombs were added because the emps were bugged. They originally were supposed to be in at launch. I gotta disagree about the beginning of the season. Cars were extremely extremely overpowered especially the boss cars. It was to the point that you'd see teams just riding around with nothing but shield bubbles and blow torches. That's only fun if you have a boss car and everyone else is just playing for placement. I'm not asking for perfect balance but going on foot should at least be a semi option. When it first started I thought id love it for about 3 months and by the time I got tired of it the new season would be about to drop but in the end I was over it in 2 weeks.

AGAIN. ……….etc………etc………….. but I can’t lie it’s pretty funny watching cars pop while kids flail around confused on how to play, or when someone confidently use magnetos and you beam em down before they had a chance, And last but definitely not least when u sidestep fists just to 👊 them with a shotgun. Too bad the hole lobbies are bots so I can’t Evan have to much fun doing that 👆gotta run around for 10 min 15 min looking for REAL PEOPLE.
Super easy to win this season, I loved every previous season this chapter but it was fun for me as a casual player to just destroy people no matter if they were superhero tryhards, real fun hope next season is just as fun

If they never nerfed anything this season, 80% of the playerbase would have quit playing. I get that it may have been fun at the start (though I couldn't disagree more...), people would eventually become frustrated with this kind of gameplay.

This season was really fun at launch. And I think if they just kept updating it and added counters to the cars without nerfing them it would’ve been great. But instead they nerfed the cars AND added super overpowered counters (Magneto power) to the point where the cars now feel like they’re made of glass

The grenade launcher on the car does 75 damage so three hits and your dead if you don't build and you have to hit a car with magneto fists like 7 times to break it.

This is the only season where I've played creative more than regular battle royale not including the ones before I joined Fortnite (chapter 1 seasons 1-4) or where I was burnt out. I genuinely only play creative cause this season is baaad. I hope the next season is better but I don't have my hopes up too high.
Liked it at the start but just every update it felt like they were scared about the competitive players. Happened last season too. Loved Zeus lightening bolts at the start but didn’t pick them up after later updates because they got nerfed bad. And now this season I usually don’t get a car anymore and just stick with fists/ magneto powers. It’s a shame they put fun stuff in but nerf them almost instantly
That sweet spot in the season after the EMPs but before the magneto gloves, that's probably the greatest fun I've ever had in Fortnite. Definitely my favourite season but those gloves nearly ruined it for me (that being said, I did enjoy the challenge of trying to take down magneto users, and it was very satisfying scoring kills on them).
I loved this new meta, but so many big players didn't and the nerfs were everywhere and i don't see many cars nowadays. This season was.... Interesting i won't call it the worst there's others I'd put down there.
W opinion. What I'd like to add to this is that they should've nerfed the cars, but only a little bit. Just like, decrease the dps of the turrets and remove the cars and nitro fists from ranked and I would've been happy with the season.
Came back to Fortnite after 5 yrs when they launched chapter 5 season 1. All the ch5 seasons have been pretty good to me. The cars were fun to use in the beginning of the season but I understand the complaints of them being too op. I think with the recent patches things are more balanced. To me almost everything should have a counter and there are plenty of “counters” to vehicles now. Even nitro isnt as op as it was, so everything seems sort of balanced. I dont think I’ll play the next season as much as this season though because I’m not really a Marvel fan.

It sucked at the beginning cause there was no counterplay to cars and most people don't really like the car combat in the game. If you didn't have a car you were dead basically and it kept most people from playing. I came back at the end of the season cause I heard they were nerfed and it was a bit more bearable for me. I really hate the magneto gauntlets though, it's the most boring weapon Fortnite ever put in the game.
This season was definitely the best season I've played in Fortnite by a mile, but my biggest gripe was the nerfs. Why nerf the cars so much and then bring in so many op ways to counter cars. Epic should have at least buffed the cars, especially the Boss Cars, after bringing in the high-impact sniper rifles and magneto power because those things take a good chunk of vehicle health with each blow. Boss Cars should have had regen again after all the counters were brought in

The pros and the sweats always complain when one pumping and box, editing, building is not the meta. As a casual playet i liked the overpowered cars because i can´t keep up with the editing and building of these new kids. Next time they should look more to the casual players.

What I hate about Epic Games when it comes to feedback is that they prioritize high-profile streamers and Battle Royale players over Zero Build players. I play mostly ZB and had an absolute blast at the beginning of the Wrecked season, but then we have Ninja complaining about cars messing up builds and SypherPK complaining about losing monetization because of amazing (but copyrighted) rock music at the Nitro-Drome, and then Epic Games made changes that go against the very spirit of what Wrecked was supposed to be.

The problem with the season is that guns became redundant. The meta was completely controlled by overpowered non-gun items such as nitro fists, magneto power and nitro splash. You basically didn’t need to run a gun in any game and you would still be guaranteed to get a good game. At the core, Fortnite is a br and therefore guns should be the central play and the best for elims and external items shouldn’t be the best and fastest ways of killing people. Take the nitro fists. If you got punched once by a nitro fist, it was over bc the nitro fists did 250 damage in what felt like 2 seconds, while your aim was messed up bc of the knock back effect and your gun would’ve maybe broken their over shield. That’s why this season was awful

Tbh I liked this season, idc what ya’ll think it’s a change of pace that was needed for me, it felt way too bland before and tbh I was just spamming creative for a long while to get the battle pass done. But this season was cool af to me especially the cars it made for a good challenge to take on without a vehicle. The scenery and setting for this season was cool af with the Mad Max feel to it and then finally adding Metallica, Rob Zombie, and other stuff honestly this one sticks out more than the rest of the seasons and I like it for what it is
Seasons are only 2-3 months anyway, FN should absolutely listen to the community but sometimes catering to both sides makes things enjoyable to no one. I thought I would love this season but it turned into one of my least favorites ever in an already shitty chapter (that unfortunately broke the amazing streak of season 2's). Also competitive players should never be acknowledged for changes to br, only ranked.

I'll go ahead and say that this season is one of my top favorites that I've played. Driving around and fighting Mad Max style with the cool wasteland areas is so cool! Yeah, even after the nerfs its still fun.

Tbh, the season looked fun on screen, BUT it severely lacked with counterplay at first; which I didn’t liked. Then the nerfs came along and the EMPs came, which was okay, sort of.
This chapter in its entirety is not going well so far after what Season OG brought to the table and for next season being another collab filled season; I’m excited but not at the extent like everyone else. Especially with how much collabs were featured and introduced throughout the first three seasons.
This chapter was amazing before the nerfs. The cars were balanced if you had mid aim. People were just mad because it was two different. And don’t be pulling you’re not at the game obviously because you said that card because I’m unreal.

People hated the cars not only for being OP, but also because they take no skill to use, and had zero counters. This made it so it felt unfair and frustrating when someone killed you with a car. And the same could be said about Nitro and the Nitro Fists.
All around, the season was just bad game design, at least at the start.

I do agree Epic over-nerfed the cars. Now, the cars are destroyed way too easily if you have Magneto's gloves. In my opinion, they should've added EMPs at the start of the season, just so people actually had a fighting chance when a car rushed them.
Here's the problem:
If you don't get fists fairly quickly after drop, your chance of winning is insanely reduced. That's inexcusable, Fortnite. Period. The game is no longer about skill, but RNG. Who's to say that Fortnite doesn't favor certain players over others via their algorhythm?
The first two weeks were absolute GOLD, my duo and I would be cracking up every single match. It was ridiculous, fast paced, over the top and FUN. As said in the video, it felt like Fortnite retrieved that magic that has been lost for quite a few years without having to appeal with nostalgia hooks.
Despite all the shit that has been going on after the season's release, I'm just glad that at the very least we got new content for STW :)

They got everything what they've asked for.
Boogie bombs, Car nerfs, nitro splash nerfs, Nitro fists nerfed, and reload.
And most crazy thing is that epic games removed cars and nitro fists in ranked during the summer update, which is good, however, the damage is already done. And on top of that, they call it "All Sweat Summer" event.
It's kinda like rubbing on the casuals face, which is crazy.

This season feels so long .
I think the test they did with ranked was how they should do seasons moving forward. Have casual be the more experimental mode with all the unique items and abilities, but have ranked be the more consistent mode in how it’s closer to more regular styles of gameplay, where gun play is more important than what items you have.
Nice video man! I personally enjoyed this season for the most part. If the cars and nitro fists hadn't been so unbeatable during the first week, I really think this could've been a unique and fondly remembered season. First impressions matter so much for something like this, and it just left a bad taste in the mouths of so many people.

This season was the first time my friends and i genuinely had FUN. On launch we were truly enjoying the game. We dont play competitively or sweat or whatever. We just play for fun. And it was very sad to see them nerf all that into the ground bc a certain group would do nothing but whine like they usually do when something fun is around

The second they added Magneto gauntlet me and my friends hopped off this game, they started adding everything they could to destroy the meta they created with the cars. The hook, boogies, emp, magneto, nerfed gun mods, and reduced car impact damage. The start of this season was a solid 9/10 chaotically fun season, and then they ruined it because the sweats couldn’t handle the fact that building was kinda useless this season.

I actually didn't mind this season. Sure, it wasn't Epic's best work, but like you said, there was roughly enough good to balance it out. The collabs definitely carried this season for me, though, Metallica was amazing Fall guys was ok and the marvel skins we got leading up to next season (the name of it being Absolute Doom) were good. Weapon X along with magneto and the other marvel skins are cool.

No my problem with this season is you can't win through skill anymore even If you're having a great game you could lose and waste the time you spent in the match to a random player punching with nitrofist or cars and die without anyway to fight back with strategy you basically forced to run or die and all you can really do is hop in there car to counter which you're almost guaranteed to take damage doing

Idk what happened but I'll admit I enjoyed the chaos at the start, now I'm just a bit bored, especially given their mentality to give out free stuff rather than updates, and any items or things I enjoyed have been nerfed to hell or removed, for example Boogie Bombs. I cannot believe after 2 seasons that kept me playing almost every day, the arguably best of the 3 fell off so hard at the midpoint. I'm not gonna get petty as others though, this is still a Top 10 season at least (probably no.10 for me)
I also agree with your main point that they put a big and enjoyable change and stepped back twice as hard to appease everyone. If Reload was at C5 S3s release, I feel the divide between "Sweats" and the rest would be easier to set in allowing for them to actually make the season fun

Because Fortnite doesn’t even try anymore

This game died in Chapter 2 Season 5. It’s just been hooked on life support ever since
I don’t get why it was so hated. I mean, I loved it. It was one of the best seasons I’ve played since I got back into the game two years ago.
I am tired of dying to magneto gloves and nitro fists and getting run over by a car. Literally never die to a gun
The issue with the cars is that vehicle combat sucks. It sucks in almost every game. It’s why Arkham Knight’s Batmobile segments are so hated.
The cars made the game feel stalemate-y and when they didn’t you’d just get ran over out of nowhere. I agree they overnerfed them a tad but even then I probably wouldn’t have touched the cars after like a week. It’s not hating change, it’s just the mechanics of that change.
The Marvel season is gonna be fine guys. The weapons look fun but manageable. There’s gonna be a few pros complaining but that happens all the time. We’re not going to war again.
This season stressed me out sm, and tdy I called it the worst season ever but this vid showed me it’s not, but I still hate this season.

The reason this season is bad is because it gives bad players too high potential output for little effort. It takes far less skill to kill someone with nitro fists or magneto gloves than it does to hit a skillshot with a sniper. Cars give bad players too much an opportunity to escape without having to work for it. Also, there is far less counterplay to something like magneto gloves or nitro fists than there is to something like wings or the grapple blade. The graple blade didn't get you very far and didn't work as fast as the fists, and the wings made your hitbox large so there was truly a give and take. Again, to summarize, this season provides players with items that, as fun as they might be to use, feel absolutely abysmal to be killed by.
This season turned me into an irl miss trunchball. Can’t look at kids in battle royal without cringing or feeling anoyed.
Boogie bombs were added because the emps were bugged. They originally were supposed to be in at launch. I gotta disagree about the beginning of the season. Cars were extremely extremely overpowered especially the boss cars. It was to the point that you'd see teams just riding around with nothing but shield bubbles and blow torches. That's only fun if you have a boss car and everyone else is just playing for placement. I'm not asking for perfect balance but going on foot should at least be a semi option. When it first started I thought id love it for about 3 months and by the time I got tired of it the new season would be about to drop but in the end I was over it in 2 weeks.
This season was even worse than Wilds. Epic dropped the ball for chapter 5

@@outrightflame4280 Carniting kids who can’t Evan play. don’t Evan leave the cars. it’s crazy!🤦♂️ magnetos can like 2 or 3 tap. fists launch you in the air and stun lock u. car bumpers can do most your health in one hit ESPECIALLY boss cars. Hammer pump shoots in slow motion. gatekeeper should come with 5 shots out the gate. (no pun intended) There’s a huge delay in swapping. NO. STAMINA. AGAIN. ……….etc………etc………….. but I can’t lie it’s pretty funny watching cars pop while kids flail around confused on how to play, or when someone confidently use magnetos and you beam em down before they had a chance, And last but definitely not least when u sidestep fists just to 👊 them with a shotgun. Too bad the hole lobbies are bots so I can’t Evan have to much fun doing that 👆gotta run around for 10 min 15 min looking for REAL PEOPLE.
This season has been the only one ever where I've gotten over lvl 120 I got in 302 yesterday. I have played it a lot more than any other seasons
Super easy to win this season, I loved every previous season this chapter but it was fun for me as a casual player to just destroy people no matter if they were superhero tryhards, real fun hope next season is just as fun
To me the battle pass skins were the biggest disappointment of the season the cars became fun in the end
I feel dirt bikes like in the trailer could be awesome. But overall I like this chapter.
Why reinvent the wheel? Why reinvent something that works great? Why reinvent a game with millions of players?
