Just one correction: Jews have the longest continuous presence in that land for over 4500 years! Some of them were exiled by the Romans and simply returned to their homeland after 2000 years in forced exile. That doesn't mean that land was just Arab and free of Jews... The native Jews always lived there even during the Arab conquest of that land over the centuries.

There is no issue of conflict for control there. Israel was formed through the United Nations deciding to partition Palestine into two nations, that being Palestine and Israel to allow for the Jewish settlements to be recognized as a country. With due respect, Israel is a country formed by force occupation. Millions of Jewish people settled in mainland Palestinian land and occupied it. They stole it. Modern-day Israel started terrorism in that area. Please, don't tell half history.
