I was at this show and it was the most unbelievable performances of Todd and Utopia i had seen. Met backstage via a contest for passes and got tongue tied when i was standing in front if the one the only Todd Rundgren and Utopia. Luckily i didnt make a fool of meself.
The lyrics to this song are so phenomenal as they make you recount times when you were going through the motions when you shouldn't have or when you SHOULD have been going through the motions but weren't. Todd's voice is a salve for this painful wound where we are meant to screw up eternally, if we don't throw away that old cliche! I adore Rundgren's work, yet another exercise in perfection, and an exercise i look forward to again and again. Thanks for this glorious upload!!

Some of my favorite lyrics, the part in the song about making the knot unwind. Know what that was like. All the lyrics are so relatable.
