Leonard and his mother both side with Penny because of it. if he hadn't (like say, he took he clean clothes and spilled cleaning detergent on them. meaning she had to clean them again) you think they would get involved? you think his mum would care? thats the point of this episode, not that she was an innocent lamb, but sheldon went overboard.

To be a physicist and a succesful one takes a great deal of mental energy and concentration. I think thats why. Unlike other sciences. Physics is the science of all sciences. But it gains you little satisfaction in life.
If I were Sheldon, I'd have gone over Penny's head and gotten her fired. Work and personal life are two separate entities that should never cross. Penny is right by giving into Sheldon you are letting Sheldon believe that he Sheldon is to be treated like a god, which is not true. Sheldon is not special except to Sheldon himself and his mother.

Sure, she shouldn't have taken his food but a) Most rational people wouldn't mind, b) She apologised but that wasn't enough for Sheldon and c) Sheldon banished Penny for sitting in his spot. That's just Sheldon being his usual selfish, assholey self

@@SWTobito0702 much as i agree with you over this episode, I think this was portrayed at "Sheldon's chickens coming home to roost" where everything Sheldon had done up to this point was being bought into this fight. so the shit he pulls in earlier episodes are also being judged
@@TheSimmr001 Yeah, but Penny also did alot of stupid shit up until this episode. She (and by extend the episode) played it off as if she deserved to win this argument and was nothing more than an innocent lamb.
That's really the problem I have with that episode.
@@SWTobito0702 I suppose, but penny's big "you've gone to far" moments are present in other epidodes. like when sheldon calls her out over comic books vs beanie babies. it was just sheldons turn. not to mention he takes it to theft later with her clothes
@@TheSimmr001 Well theft would mean he took Pennys clothes and them his by storing them at his apartment and to some extent using them.
Be basically just placed them in an inconvenient place. Sure it's far from acting nice and very much goes into the childish aspects of Sheldons personality but it's not really theft.
