I did the same thing with Penske. Chicago to Phoenix it was like $3300. Went and picked one up in Indiana for $1500. They jack the prices up where people are moving from.

From what I understand from a friend of mine who rebuilt his turbo, I have a truck very similar I have a 94 he has a 93 and they both have the same turbos on them, that you can unclip it like a clamshell and just replace the impeller assembly. I don't know if this is completely true but that's what he did apparently and he has a good working turbo now and he didn't have to spend 12 to $1,500 on a turbo. If you look on eBay and other places you can find these assemblies for anywhere from 50 to $250 come with rings and bearings in them, again from what I understand.
First west gets deployed now detig is going to Florida. Sad, those guys have been a blast to watch on your channel all the best detig!

I definitely know how it goes with the obs 7.3s fix one problem then the next problem shows itself I basically had a slow rebuilds one thing after another but its definitely worth the effort I ended up getting a kc300x and it rips
