Never gelled with Blamage but Baraonda blows me away every time I smell the cap. It's his masterpiece. It's the only Nasomatto I finished a bottle of (and my 2nd bottle is almost halfway down). He should do 100ml of this particular one. I rate his work: Baraonda > Black Afgano > Pardon > Duro. Boccanera from Orto Parisi is good too, but having two lines that are so similar in style seems both unnecessary and redundant.
True, but at least with Orto we get more fragrance.
@@robes08 Yea, unfortunately Boccanera is the only O.P. fragrance I've considered bottle worthy. CUOIUM is good too (and the leather wrapped bottle looks great) but smells just like either Raghba wood intense or Kalemat or .. I honestly can't remember, but it smells just like one of those well known darker/masculine Arabic scents only with a slight bump of ambrocenide, which seems to be a material Alessandro loves to overdose in his perfumes (thankfully he used a lighter touch with it on CUOIUM). I think stuff like Pardon, Duro, Black Afgano, etc are far more interesting and original fragrances in comparison, but I'm sure many others would feel the opposite and prefer O.P instead.
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day
There he is, not missing a beat!
This is the only nasomatto I own. It almost defies description. Its nice and bright and woody but unlike anything else I've smelled.
truth.
I agree! Passing up florals is a mistake! 🌹 Never smelled this one so I appreciate the take!
Absolutely!!
Haven’t delved into the brand yet & sounds like this isn’t the best place to start, but love the branding & esthetic. Thanks for the preview!
You're so welcome!
Never smelled this one thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
6:00 I blind bought this bc someone said it reminded them of the Album "Kid A- radiohead"
classic album
…the 8 score is spot-on imo…sampled three or four Nasomatto, purchased Blamage…a freshie comparatively, great springtime early summer wear…have to be in mood, hints of Narcisco Rodriguez and Confessions of a Garden Gnome…
Great take on it and I agree on the seasons and have to be in the mood.
Confessions of a garden gnome is heavenly nothing else like it
How you manage TWO Full wearings out of those lucky scent samples is still one of the wonders of the fragrance world 😂😂😂
Are you saying he should get more or less wearings from a sample vial?
@@SS-gx7tg less... i usually only get one full day wearing out of those crappy 1 ml lucky scent samples
@@RamseytheRam Oh wow, that's a serious sampling! The vast majority of perfume atomizers have a standardized output ranging from 0.070ml to 0.100ml with some brands opting for more or less output (Creed notoriously equips their bottles with custom 0.140ml output atomizers, aka the trusty Windsor Firehose. So a .7ml LuckyScemt sample contains approx 7-10 full sprays from an average atomizer, so I suppose half in the morning and half in the afternoon would be like two different 3x-4x sprays in a day
I continue to amaze you don't I Ramsey? 😅
My Blamage is a 0715 batch. It's very strong. Totally unisex, by my taste it goes more feminine than masculine. I did not wear it so much, 5 times maybe. For me Afgano, Pardon and Duro are at the top of all the Nasomatto portofolio.
I agree that it's not the most masculine of the bunch but it's def. artistic. Afgano still has my heart as the #1 scent of the brand.
Have never tried anything from this house before . I think it's the small bottles at that price range always makes me consider always stuff on my radar
sample them and see if they are worth it to you. I can see why someone would not buy them because of price and juice.
7:56 be careful with the F word or demonetized 😭 UA-cam right of speech . About the video , interesting one 🤝
Haha yes he almost succeeded in not saying fucking fabulous
Do they really demonetize if you use the F word once in a 10 min video? This platform has turned into such a joke. Glad Marc is back though! But youTube seems to find any pathetic/prude reason to demonetize as many content creators as they can. Makes no sense
@@SS-gx7tg I F* agree with you, I don’t own a channel , I hope they’ll go back on this regulation
@@WSF176 no, he spoke about
@@dimitriouin apologies I meant to write to robes not reply here. Sorry
Blamage
Never tried this one. I own Baraonda and Black afgano love them both. Baraonda to me the best whisky boozy fragrance i ever tried in my life. Like Pardon as well from the house. Great video brother
you own two of the best of the brand, this one is def. sample worthy depending on taste. Appreciate the comment.
@@robes08 I will try it for sure 👍
You mention Comme Des Garçons for the artistic side, if I can recommand you to sniff Comme Des Garçons ROUGE. Beetroot/Pink Pepper/Mint + Insence. An outstanding release
sounds very interesting!
