The pitch spiking on that Rafael turn...yeah he would be hitting 17.83G and rapidly dropping to 7G repeatedly. Yeah I agree he would be so dead, talking about broken neck at least.
32:37 that’s the Rockwell-MBB X-31 which was a joint project between the USAF and the Luftwaffe. There were only two prototypes ever built. And since they were prototypes. They used off the shelf components for things like the cockpit and landing gear were from a F-16. And the method used in their construction was fly-away-tooling in which the tools that were used to build the aircraft remained apart of the airframe. There’s video on here of the USAF X-31’s test flight. But it’s of its final test flight in which it lost control forcing the pilot to eject. But after the pilot had ejected from the aircraft. X-31’s fly-by-wire and flight computer tried to recover the aircraft and keep flying before it crashed into the ground in a big fireball. The other prototype is now in an air museum somewhere in Germany. And if I recall the cause of the crash was a result of conflict between inputs from the pilot and the flight computer fighting each other.
Finally again one of these wonderful, entertaining and interesting-to-watch Community FlyOuts! The best of your video series! Just sad you don't publish them in shorter intervals! Also, when looking at all submissions , I still want to see that flying wing cargo aircraft on video! Thanks for that series, PatchBits!
you would be mostly right, it'S to make laminar flow and a corridor out of the now turbulent flow. it's actually a genius piece of engineering thought that.
That "Rafale" is beautiful ngl

17:30 like for the Rafale-like plane 🤣
Another great video with some very neat builds!
Thanks for featuring the Raven, cheers!
The patch jumps scare was hilarious

The Raven is like a mix between the Vulcan and the B-1
It's looks really like F111 and B1
Reminds me of A-5 Vigilante
@@Zakysg2 That was my thought too, an A-5 Vigilante scaled up and given a bomb bay that actually works.
@@malusignatius real recognizes real
Everyone is pretty close with the inspiration! It's a mix of B-1, Tu-22M, A-5, F-111 and XF-108
u left the flaps on during the whole rafale speed test🤣🤣🤣
Really like that these videos are getting longer. I really enjoy these videos.
11:13 do please make a habit of showing interiors if there is one hehe

10:40 Patchbits plays DCS video soon
Hell yeah the red wine in the Rafale’s cockpit 🇫🇷🐓🍷
Where is the T-90A/Cromwell hybrid Patch? The clock is ticking and the Frink can only take so much pain.
I have a friend that is a Rafale pilot in the French Air Force that gives me in idea .....
New vid, Yay!
Finally we got a flyout.🎉🎉🎉🎉
When was the last time Patch did an IFV?

The eb 21 is literally a B-1 lancer
Different intakes, airframe shape, engine placement and amount, wings. Basically looks nothing like it bUt iT's LiTeRaLlY tHe sAmE
It's far closer to the Rockwell A-5 Vigilante.
