I was in Amsterdam many years ago and couldn't find any jazz anywhere but saw a poster saying Arnette Cobb was playing a gig in Utrect that very night. I hopped on a train and was wondering where the venue was, but to my surprise in turned out to be in a small theatre in the actual station. It was a tremendous gig with the same musicians that are on this clip with Guy Lafitte joining the band in the second half.
Quelle sonorité! C'était un grand... Je recommande cet album, "Arnett Cobb - Again With Milt Buckner" Label: Black And Blue - 33.052 avec: Organ - Milt Buckner Guitar - Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown Drums - Michael Silva
