tbh they probably included the gravy bc of all the comments they got about that
IMO they ought to simply order the dish as you would get it when ordered at a restaurant (where possible, obviously it might get kinda soggy and nasty for some items).

I feel like with Indian food, the price point actually makes a big difference. Spices are expensive and it kind of makes sense that a place has to charge more in order to use better spices and ingredients which obviously in turn makes it taste better/more authentic.
Not really pricing is overrated. Indian food is good in every price point. They had another older indian food edition of this series. And they spoken about how even the frozen food is really good in comparison heck even link voted for the frozen one.

This completely negates the entire idea of the format since we don't all have personal chefs to make us meals. There's a reason this suggestion has never be done. That being said, it would be cool as its own format

Fair points. Although I don't think it negates the idea of the format. They are still testing frozen vs fancy food. It would just have an extra entertainment factor added to the video. Sometimes you have to pay for quality or certain ingredients, chefs, etc. They also live in a place where things are very expensive. This is coming from a person who lives paycheck to paycheck
Milk Bar 10" cake is $140 and worth every penny

Honestly it's not even a bad price.
You'd be surprised how expensive cake can get heck even the fancy price point in this video is a good deal versus other cakes in life.

I'm glad to have spent another year with GMM starting my day! I really rely on this show as part of my morning routine to help me adjust to being back on this Earth after my deep and pleasant slumber.
