pubmix meets Yellowman

pubmix takes to Ocean Beach, CA once again to meet the King of Dancehall, the one and only Yellowman.
It was great meeting Yellowman at Winsto's in San Diego.
Yellowman is a musical icon who defied all stereotypes and obstacles. Born an orphan with albinism, faced discrimination throughout his career, and also survived skin cancer. He is also a very genuine person with a great sense of humor.
He is known as the King of Dancehall and his music is a staple of Jamaican pop-culture.
Fun fact: he told me, ALL his songs are freestyles. He said he would listen to the beat once he got to the studio, and make something up on the spot.
It was also very cool to meet Miles Dougherty of Slightly Stoopid Being born and raised in San Diego, Miles and Slightly Stoopid were one of my first introductions into Reggae and are hometown heroes to me, my closest friends and family.
Miles mentioned a new album this summer and discussed possibly working with Yellow again.
