I own a 2015 i3 Rex (range extender) it's my only and everyday car, I get about 150 to 160 of range (depending on weather conditions) I love this car. There are things I would change but overall it's a super fun car. I do agree the the pure electric version in earlier years the range was too low, but with later models the range improved. Thanks for sharing and great video.

If Pepper and I do decide to pick one up, it would most likely be with the range extender. A friend of mine had the first generation Chevy Volt which I see as the inverse of yours where it is a gasoline vehicle that can do about 40-50 miles on electric. He just loved that vehicle, and he would often state that he would sometimes go 6 months to a year without filling up the tank.

HI, just curious -- what song is that in the background at 8:21 minute mark?. It is not one of the one's listed on your video. Good video, good location - really beautiful area.Very good point on Tesla - "live and die" by hype. Also touchscreens are not always best, I agree. Very much prefer the BMW dial.

That’s not a 2015 i3. It must be a 2018 since you said there’s only 100 miles of range. The 2019 has a larger battery with ~ 165 miles of range. If you add a range extender you can get an additional 75 miles of range for a total of 240 miles, depending on the weather and the way you drive the car.
Nice car though, love the interior, except the smaller nav screen.
