Saw this many years ago at like 2am when I couldn't sleep. Never forgot how strange a flick this was. Looked for it for a long time. Thanks for posting this.
I 1st saw this in the 1990's one night but was half asleep lol. For years I didn't know the name and decided over 20 yrs later to google the plot and found it here. Thanks so much for uploading this.
I saw this back in 1992 and it made me want to make short films. It was part of a series of short films - "Balance" and "Giselle Kerosene" were part of this "series" - that were played in between the major movies on Showtime, I think. It was great stuff, and this one was my favorite one of the bunch. Thank you SO much for uploading it!
I also saw this when I was a kid. I believe this aired on HBO. I was a horror fanatic back then. I loved John Carpenter, Body Bags and Tales From The Crypt. Thanks for the upload :)
There's a DVD box set called Cinema Collection 56 Movies One Box. It was released in 2005. It has this and other Chantileer Films productions that were shown on Showtime back in the day.
Darren Belton under the car was their fears of lifeor Bill was the true psycho who was hurting them. He was holding back his anger all the time and so he developed a split persona

K Dub same I saw this as a child...and was terrified...I thought it was a movie didn't realize it was a short.
I remember seeing this on ITV. First time around October 95 and 2nd in November 97. I would like it if more Short Story Cinema films were uploaded.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. This still haunts me since that night I was alone and looking for something cool to watch. Now I finally can rewatch this.

When I first seen that on television in 1995 I thought it was a movie. Then I seen again two years later and realised it was a short.
I saw this so long ago late one night and the image of the monster burning in the sun was etched into my memory
I couldn't help wondering what became of the main character Bill. After all his wife and friends were killed would he have continued living?
What was under the car?
