Man, I'm pushing 50, while adopting a "festival pilgrim" mindset - having clubbed and raved across this amazing planet at some of the hardest and sickest raves in the world.
I'm grateful to have experienced the electronic rave forefathers/mothers of the late 80s, through to the underground scene of the 90s, seeing the floodgates open up to society in the 00s, and the professionalism and dedication of the new generation of DJs, MCs, producers and event managers propel the scene throughout the 10s and up to the 20s.
Now we are well and truly into a new decade of regenerative excellence. Each year gets better and better and artists like Ran D, seek to perfect their craft for all of us. It is truly an honour to be alive to bear witness to such events and watch the scene evolve. Wonderful days to be alive.
Acknowledge the past, live in the present, welcome the future and above all choose life.
