@@Emmanuel-tt1mz Oleksandr and Alexander are pretty much the variations of the same name. In Ukrainian, you can't really shorten Oleksandr to Oleks, so Alex works as it is quick and easy to say.
@@Emmanuel-tt1mz in Ukraine he is Oleksandr, and in Russia Alexander. Many Ukrainian words are translated into English from Russian. Even the city of Kyiv is translated from Russian and gets Kiev. Sergio Ramos has a tattoo with the names of the cities where he won the Champions League, and it has the wrong name because he translated it from Russian
