I own this exact machine with the 60 in mower deck we use it for our horse barn and I can tell you that I jokingly call it the little tractor that could ! this machine is capable of the work of a much bigger tractor it really never quits amazing me ! I am constantly moving 800lb round bales for the horses with it and it does so effortlessly ! however it is better to have a weight box on the 3 point when you are lifting much more than 500lbs on the front. just a all around great little machine . it has just a little over 700 hrs on it now and runs and preforms like the day I bought it new.
On the slide where you compare hydraulics, there are two flow rates, steering and implement. They add to total flow rate. You happen to be comparing Kubota total flow rate to Yanmar implement flow rate. Yanmar lists the two separately and Kubota lumps them together. The proper entry for Yanmar would be 16.1 + 14.1 = 30.2 L/min which is greater than Kubota. Otherwise a great video, thanks.
I also had the rear 4 ports for the controll of my snowblower. Can move the shoot in any direction and raise the discharge shoot with 2 levers. no reaching back and working a crank.
Compact tractors can always lift more than back end weights.. hydraulics are stronger than you think. Such a universal machine. We use RK 24 for tree work, river rock, dirt, mulch, digging ponds etc. One thing I love about compact tractors is light footprint 👣 they leave on properties.
I have had mine for 2 years now and it is a very dependable tractor. In the winter i put a Ratchet Rake snow scraper blade on the bucket and it moves lots of snow without scrapping up my blacktop. I also have a Land Pride rear snow blower. That combo moves any big snows with ease. Also have a rear Land Pride rear tiller and a rear finish mower. And very fuel efficient. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great sub compact tractor.
Hey Rick, im curious as to how wide your rear snowblower is ? Does it seem to have enough power ? Im just wondering if it could power a 60" blower in 6-8 inches ?
No drive over mower, it removes form the side after you change the direction of the fixed mower wheels to allow you to pull it out. Easy but not drive over.
I’ve been working with a small Massey tractor. It’s a year old. It’s junk. Over heats fast. Hydrologics are slow as hell. If I were to get a small tractor. It’d get one of Yanmars.
you must have a lemon, I have a GC1715 and it is a power house. no different than any other tractor you need to clean the dust screen when in use for 10 hours.
If you sell diesels you should no that you pre heat. and not start them on full throttle your prolly shut it off full throttle to smh and he doesn’t even know how to scoop into a pile, typical sales man doesn’t know the way around the machine.

Does it work ok with the single range transmission?
@@beunbad is hydrostatic
Great video, thanks. Note however that Yanmar rear PTO does NOT run at 3200rpm; it runs at 540rpm at *engine* 3200rpm.

Thanks for taking the time. A lot of very helpful info for someone looking to make a big investment in a new tractor.
We just hope the videos continue to get better and more informative for those out there shopping, or just wanting to learn. Thanks for your comment!!

@@nickosowski9305 Mine is 50 inches. Mine goes through very deep snow, I mean feet. I love my yanmar.

Can you add a third function for a grapple to the front end?
Yes you can but you will have to install a remote and extra valves.
What differences are there compared to the Yanmar Sc2400?
your 221 should have a high low range transmission ,on the 2380 it does have high and low range. i like low gears they save the transmission.
Yo Tractor Bob whats your dump time?
How much for this tractor with the belly more in the loader

Yes my 2019 massey ferguson gc1723eb was absolutely garbage. I bought a solis 24 last year and its pretty amazing and im buying a sa221 tomorrow.
@@ggarden8432 the older 1705 and 1715 wasnt bad at all. The newer 1723-1725 are garbage
How much with bucket and deck
Hola me puedes ayudar con un video del tractor con rotavictor yanmar 221 pero en español
Thanks for an informative review.
Hmmmm.......3200 rpm's at the rear pto and mid pto, i can't imagine that is correct
😆. Orbit
I think all 3 pt hitch implements are 540 rpm.
I'd take it out to get groceries, too. :)
Torque is pounds times foot, not pounds per foot.
It goes both ways. 2x4 is the same as 4x2.
Why did you compare this and the BX to a 2 series from John Deere? The 2 series is a bigger machine. Should have been the 1025R.
The fuel fill on the hood turned me off. Kent from PEI
Damn I wish I could find any of those tractors for under 23k all said and done lol
12,000 base model
What s the update on sub compact tractor, I’m in millington tn
Update?

Way to under powered especially when mowing!!!
Are u talking about the mid-mount mower or a rotary cutter?
No low range,no diff lock. Hate mine.
What do you wish you had gotten instead?
I thought they had diff lock, can you guys clarify this?
@@davidsoto1706 it's an option
I think the diff lock is initiated in the break pedal. When you start to spin press it down slightly and it’s automatic
It actually does have a diff lock. Its engaged by depressing the brake about 1/4 down. Ive owned mine about a year now...
