So basically Korone will play a random SNES game, stream it for 24+ hours, and then join the PalWorld hype train in about a month or two
Most likely. But if the pvp feature is added by then, I don't think she'll join the JP server. Korone's known in the past to not do well with multiplayer games that incite conflict. (Looking back at the Minecraft killer mini-game where she sulked in a corner for entirety of the stream 😅)
That sounds like something I would do, except it might also be some ASCII roguelike.
@@Koronesuki1313 She's unwilling to attack others?
@@DinnerForkTongue Korone is like a cute chihuahuas that doesn't attack but barks like mad.
i love the way she said palpalpalpal 😆
no more hololive jp lethal company?
@@Teddyponsel2626 Probably not in the short term. Many members in Holo love Pokemon and Palworld is a closeish multiplayer analogue to it. Understandably, it is also a popular and new game(topping the steam charts) which also brings viewers/interest to the streams.
@@Flight042 gugi gugi😢
the members love ark and pokemon.
palworld just happens to have both elements
Korone always doing her own thing
Yep. On the one hand it's admirable that she focuses on the stuff and games she wants to play and not get swept in by what everyone else is playing. On the other hand I feel like we're missing out on some great interactions between her and the other members.
@@Project_Nitsujtbf, from outside perspectives, the game looks like a very fun time, so it's understandable that one would want to try it. But then again, this is just one of those Ark/Rust/Among Us/heck, even Pokemon SV, where it's only popular for a few weeks before the girls slowly move on to other games.
And that is why I love her.
korone: nah Imma do my own thing.
@@Project_Nitsuj I still remember when everyone was playing Tears of the Kingdom and Korone chose to play Zelda 1 on the NES instead
This clip has such "Oh no! Anyway..." energy
She goes through 3 topics in 40 seconds 😂
@@TheNintendude1997 Case in point! 😆
that game took off like a rocket, I don't remember the last time something like this happened
Like pokemon go on mobile when it first released in 2016, it goes booooommm irl so many player out there trying catch pokemon. But eventually dropdown more 60-70% players left the game. I don't know if pal gonna fall like that because they only at early access stage now, they have many opportunity to go higher or go lower
It was short-lived, but PUBG was kinda of a phenomenon in early 2017...until Fortnite came along.
@@alexrogers8759 Bro yeah, Fortnite is freakin bonkers, PUBG is still at top 3 active playerbase in Steam but that just because Fortnite isn't in it
Palworld already past 2 million players peak online concurrently on Steam. And that's not counting Xbox or Game Pass. Steam previous leader in peak players was CSGO at 1.8 million.
Elden Ring was the last cultural phenomena we had in gaming. Damn near every Holo member streamed it, as did all of the biggest non-Vtuber streamers. Same thing with Only Up, many Holo members played it and so did many other streamers. But Elden Ring had a ton of content and memes made from it outside streaming.
一昔前のARK時代を思い出す
And rust more recently.
It's not just Hololive, on Twitch 9 of the top 10 vtuber streams were Pals at one point.
Why tho?
@@gusa13 cuz it's fun
@@gusa13 Because there isn't a big game released recently.
@@Mournlied Also cuz it's fun
It's addictive for sure.
Looks like Nintendo isn't going after a whole life members doing palworld streams.
I think their tendency to cluster is partly due to the fact that they need to arrange permission for every stream with the dev, but presumably the permission applies to the whole company once they got it. So it simplifies thing if they stream something that is already cleared.
But in the case of Palworld, I think everyone just wanted to eat Pokemons yes =)
At least it's not fucking APEX or Valorant
Palolive Production
Korone casually going off and on topic
The fact that these streams happened right after the Nintendo-sponsored (kind of) MArio Kart Tournament is so damn funny to me. lmao
Well maybe if their perms didn't expire faster than a gnat's lifespan, they could still be playing more Nintendo games.
@skankhunt4215No, but they need a permit to stream game as company streamer.
@skankhunt4215yeah i think its a different rules between a indie (solo) utuber and company affiliated utuber
@skankhunt4215 They need permits to stream any Pokemon game, and the problem with Pokemon games is that it is by 3 different companies
@skankhunt4215 You buy a copy of the game, you don't OWN the game.

yeah it's a bit unfortunate if there's only Pal World streams
The second coming of ark
i just wish this game will last long because ive seen this before in other games but it didn't last long anyway i hope im wrong tho this game had potential
@@johnreignebaleos2613 well, there was just recently news about the update, more locations, more pals and more tower leaders
This game is really addicting, i was trying to find a good spot to stop playing it, and there is always more to do, build, get, explore, repair, protect. They did a great job with it imo. As a kid i always wanted to live in a world like Pokemon in the anime, living with Pokemon and doing daily chores and things with them other than just fight, so a game like this made me go back to my childhood in a way. And yes i know it's not Pokemon lol.
Yea, the game has a very solid gameplay loop? Explore > Gather resources/capture pals > Build base/upgrade gear/unlock tech/automate crafting. Repeat. And also fit in clearing dungeons/towers/bosses.
Tbh doesn't it make it easier for the entire group once one gets permission then others can play it? Just makes collabs etc easier but yeah korone doing her own thing
Pal era
pal pal pal pal, get palworld
It went from some Holo members starting to get into Lethal company to a full change to Palworld. I kind of miss Lethal company streams. xD
Can't wait for Koro-san to stream it in 2044 :)
Even gura's first stream back from her break is palworld
and then theres pekora, marine, noel doing their own terraria mini series
idk about others but i do buy merch even if im not a member!
Bro
The first thing that came to mind after seeing the thumbnail is
Plap plap plap
I should probably control my stick
Even Gura came back just to play Palworld.
It's both a blessing and a curse. In one hand, we don't have much variety with content among holomems and if you're not playing it, you kind of get left behind. In the other, it's a treasure trove of fun moments and interactions between gens and it's the game that finally makes Gura stream again. (SHE'S PLAYING PALWORLD IN 3 HOURS!!)
She's gonna do a slavery/cannibal run probably
Sharkgirl got peer pressured by other mems into playing LMAO

I love hololive and the members, but man, I'm kind of bummed out they hopped on the PalWorld train, I personally don't feel it's a good thing it's doing so well. I'll be glad when it passes, honestly. My Oshi seems to be dropping it now that she's got her fill, so that's a plus too...
The answer to her question is yes. I don't subscribe as membership to the hololive members, because I rarely watch them live. I mostly watch the vods and clips, and would purchase merchandise of the one I support. The only downside to this is that I miss out on pre-ordering some merchandise when they were first announce live, because by the time I hear about the merchandise, it is sold out.
I was fortunate to get Gura's earbuds, but not Pekora's tamagotchi.
It's like this every time there's a trending game. I usually get sick of the game. I'm appreciative of Korone not following trends. It's one of the things that makes her unique.
Streamers in general like to play games that are currently popular. But they do it either because they themselves don't want to miss out or to attract new viewers. Plus the hololive members can mostly only stream games they have permissions for, which don't last forever. Additionally Palworld even allows them to have their own servers, so that they can use them to interact with each other or to randomly meet each other in the game. So in the end they just have multiple reasons to try a new and popular game out.
@@VividP. мне кажется это хорошо, потому что если ты хочешь посмотреть новую игру, а её стримят все - у тебя есть выбор у кого её смотреть
I exclusively buy goods without any memberships. I remember someone once said that Holomems have to put their own money to design merch and get a higher percentage return than membership/SC.
tl;dr, Buy merch and they keep more of every dollar spent.
Ikki Ikki Ikki Ikki Ikki Ikki Ikki Online......
To answer her first question, yes there are, I know this because I am such an individual. As for why, in my case its simply that while being a member benefits the talent in question it also means I'm giving UA-cam my money which I simply refuse to do out of principle, but I still want to support the talents I like to watch in a way other than just watching streams and thus buying merchandise is a way to do that, of course that is in the case where an item of merch is of interest to me, after all I don't have unlimited space or money unfortunately.
Come on viewer, GET META WITH KORONE!
It was the same when Pokemon Scarlet/Violet releases
Or BD/SP. I believe at one point over 20 Hololive members were playing BDSP at the same time.
i'm glad everyone's enjoying this game. i'm enjoying it lots too!
Why are so many people like to streaming Palsworld?
Simple answer
Pokemon with Guns, Violences, Slavery and low amount of Bugs
Low amount of bugs both programming wise and design wise... there's too few bug Pals! ;-;
It's become the new Rust.
The new ARK more like
its because are generations ark/pokemon at this point but i don't how this will last long
As someone who buys merch but does not join memberships or send superchats, it is because I want to spend my money on something has a tangible return. Very easy concept to grasp and why would I even want to freely donate to the rich anyways.
さ!
still waiting war criminal rabbit to enter palworld
still busy on terraria
We're all living in a Palworld world, pal.
In the midst of holomems doing pal streams, there's pekora, marine, and noel playing terraria and killing it with 50,000+ viewers 😂
Not only Hololive, feels like the entire internet. Which is quite dull if you don't care about Palworld.
But it'll pass, like all fads do.
It's taken off with such fervor that I think it will be around for a good while. Unless they ruin the game, there will always be someone playing it somewhere, I believe.
Never be too quick to declare something a fad, lest you wind up like that dude back in the early internet days that said the internet was just a fad and it would pass. I'd say to give it at least a month before deciding such.
@@latemanparodius5133 It’s only successful because it is at the expense of something else. People are playing it because it’s their form of protesting Pokemon. Palworld isn’t even a good game it is a shitty clone of every survival crafting game thrown into one.
@@gundamgames6092 yeah all these people are definitly protesting and suffering through the game. So there is no reason to keep playing when new updates drop.. Its so bad but for the protest we millions continue to sacrifice our time and keep protesting for hours without end.
@@latemanparodius5133 I feel like the _way_ it took off might end up hurting it in the long term, however. The fact that it ended up permeating almost the entire digital aristocracy simultaneously could result in some amount of fatigue around its existence among general audiences, and an imminent drop-off in associated content when creators complete or get tired of the gameplay loop.
Basically, taking off too fast like this might end up burning out everyone.
@@gundamgames6092the only one protesting is you and these so called pokemon fans that we all know your kind just like to suck gamefreak like the previous rabid "fanbase"s all done and trying to defame Palworld in any way
Meanwhile..
Pekora.. 😂
But 3 big and popular Holomembers still have not played it. Korone, Pekora and Marine! I cannot wait for their streams!
Korone is not for a creative sandbox games.
She's more like for linear story game. Also big chance it's a retro game.
Edit: and JP3 are in vacation start from now on. Probably now they're still preparing for their vacation
@@DBT1007 What? Gen3 vacation? Well good for them! Is it their personal stuff? Or their vacation related to work stuff? If it is related ti work stuff then I gues we should expect something in the future!
@@damirturakbayev5215 I saw a clip of Pekora saying it was a work trip for gen 3 so she wouldn't stream for a week.
I'd be really surprised if pekora didn't stream it eventually. i mean, too many chances for more war crimes...
@@theonlymegumegu wait till she knows that wooden houses in Palworld could catch fire like in minecraft
Korone only play old games
Good thing some of them are starting to realize and doing something else, it gets kind of tiring when everyone's playing the same thing
yeah its refreshing and its not a bad thing
Nintendo in shambles
I'm already tired of Palworld streams...
I would buy merch from the mems I actually watch and support consistently (Korone and Kaela basically), but literally all the merch is made of plastic, and I just don't think I can bring myself to do it from an environmental pov
says the guy who typed this comment via a machine made of plastic lol
@@bottomlefto I actually have a use for my phone and use it everyday for years lol, it's a bit of a different case to buying and importing stuff that literally has no use other than to sit there.
@@kkestrel150 so what if you use it? plastic is plastic, and its production is no less harmful "from an environmental pov" than any other piece of plastic.
I'm sure that Korone can't play Pal because she loves animals too much more than other vtubers😢
Dafuq you getting this from?
Up your butt? 😂
Vtuber try to make original content challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
I wonder why none of the Nijisanji member jump on the new Palworld hype. Did they did not get permission to play the game? Kinda impossible since they're the biggest Vtuber company in Japan.
Probably they afraid offended sponsor
Niji has permanent perms from the Pokemon Company while Hololive only has perms lasting 30 days upon Pkmn game releases, that's why Niji forbids any talent to play Palworld to protect their relationship with the Pokemon Company.
PS. They're no longer the biggest vtuber company in JP. With the exception of their parent company's evaluation, Hololive has more employees and higher viewership than Niji.
Getting sick of it too tbh. Can't wait for shadow of the erdtree to drop so we can move on from this
It`s the typical behaviour of almost anyone one UA-cam Vtuber or otherwise. If something is trending ride the wave until it's over. It generates the most clicks after all.
Or maybe it's a new game that's fun to play.
@@SeanCrosserits both for the trend and there having fun with the game
I think its most likely that Cover is backing this developer on another project and this is more or less an early playable concept version of that project to gauge a general reaction and also to generate some feedback/money. The first streams were right on the day of release, wich makes it seem like permissions had been settled way beforehand as even with indie devs settling perms can be a pain
@@cherryrook8684 i see
@cherryrook8684 There is absolutely no evidence for a claim that big... Palworld gave streamers and UA-camrs in general access to the game a couple days early, not just Hololive.
Might be offtopic but do we know why Nijisanji vtubers aren't joining the Palworld bandwagon?
Anycolor has strong ties to the Pokemon Company so they somewhat banned their livers to play Palworld. If you check some of the Nijitalents right now, they're actually playing Pokemon Scarlet/Violet again 😅.
Niji has more or less permanent perms on Pokemon games unlike Hololive which are only given 30-day perms by the Pokemon Company.
