I Was Fishing At The Santa Cruz Wharf In Santa Cruz California With My Wife! There’s A Tackle Shop Right On The Pier, I Bought A Sabiki Rig Right There And I Tied On A 2oz Weight! I Pitched The Sabiki Rig Under The Pier And Let It Hit The Floor Then Jigged It Up And Down Slowly While Reeling And You Will Feel Them Bite Down!
We Also Caught Some Jack Smelt And Surf Perch Using This Same Method! I Casted Out Far Then Just Simply Jigged Back And It Was Fish On!

Try to separate the squid and the anchovies. Otherwise, the squid will eat your anchovies, and you’ll have less live bait.
