My wife and I LOVE MSC, but we too had heard how bad it was before our first cruise; so much so that we almost cancelled our first voyage in 2016 and went back to our comfort zone which at the time was Disney. But, we went anyway and I'm so glad we did. At the time, we started in the Yacht Club because of the lower price point and now we can't leave. It is the best cruise experience for us, and everybody should cruise the line that meets their vacation desires and expectations. I can't wait to hear about your Seascape cruise in the Yacht Club!

OMG, you two going on about Steampunk Humpty Dumpty for TWO videos finally got me to go hunting online. I found a vlogger who managed to capture him in all his fabulous glory, practically front center stage, by searching for "MSC Mystic Forest". The clips they posted from the show make me very sad I missed it - how whimsical! Plus I now have mental images of the KISS member and eagle woman!
I'm taking my first MSC cruise this fall, after cruising for many years with another line. I've heard a lot of bad reviews about MSC, but I'm going to give it a try.
After listening to Chris's synopsis of the show, I have concluded that either him or I or both dropped a tab of acid right before seeing this show. I don't remember 90% of what he said happened... I don't remember the kiss member at all, etc. However, I do remember Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum riding Go-Karts in the show... 😂 You should make Tees for the Inaugural for everyone to purchase to wear on Embarkation. We would definitely buy a couple.
I went on a Behind the scenes tour on World Europa that included the theatre and they informed us that MSC don't do their "own" shows, eg have their own writers/producers somewhere central. Instead they outsource the shows to different production companies including staffing the actual performers, so they are not working directly for MSC. On World Europa that was Ladybug production LTD and on Euribia it seems to be one called BOR. My google fu is not advanced enough for me to find out who's producing the Seashore shows but I sort of think that would be your best way forward. It's very unclear how much influence MSC has over the shows or what kind of specifications they provide to the production companies.
