Could you have Paul and/or Jose do like a simulated judging of a callout? Like let them talk it out and see how they actually score a judging ? Could be any show from the past, I’m just curious to how judges actually go through the process
I’m from NY, moved to TX for 4 years and now am in Vegas working remotely. In NY people either live and work in Manhattan but don’t drive (parking is $20-30 per hour) or they work in Manhattan and live in NJ or Long Island and take a train in. The other option is live and work on LI and go to the city for entertainment. I moved because I had preferred to live alone but you get priced out even if you have multiple jobs if you include student loans and a car note. Everyone I know lives with someone else or lives in a multiplex. Not too many people live alone because it’s just expensive everywhere unfortunately. I moved because I was sick of the extra expense and the snow and cold.
The “overthinking Bbing” section of this podcast brought me so much relief!! Lately I’ve had information overload following guys like Kuba, John Jewett, JP etc and they all have GREAT information but this info should apply to guys who have the foundation and need to make those minute improvements. Hearing this from you guys allows me to stick to my guns and just go in and lift the basic fucking lifts heavy as shit for 5+ more years until I’m getting minute feedback from judges.
I’ve been watching a little old Andrew dice clay recently… “I was out having coffee with boys “lol “till two am?? …. YEAH, what do you want me to say baby” 🤣
I was in New York for a couple weeks recently. I stayed in Pearl River but I took the trains into the city a couple times. Manhattan was always packed!
I thought Stu pretty clearly shoulda been in 3rd based off the live feed and more crisp pictures that were produced. Density, fullness and conditioning were all in his favor over Sergio
Nobody really drives into nyc, public transportation is the main mean of travel for daily commuters. Trains, bus, ferry. I personally take the ferry from NJ and it’s a 8 minute ride across the Hudson River
I’m curious to know if anyone else was at the Cali pro and saw what I saw, I was there all day and it was pretty clear that tonio was ahead in pre judging but in finals, I, as well as everyone around me had Ross winning the show! He came back at night looking so much better
(commenting on the end of show training question) I'm just a guy that likes lifting and so far I've figured out; the exercises that change you are all the ones that are really hard and have a big element of them sucking. Curls and isolation stuff I look at as stuff to do if your progress stalls on a compound move (I'm failing on the bench because my triceps need more work because they are failing way before my chest). The sucky exercises make you feel better after you get out of the gym.
I don't know if you ventured into Brooklyn and Queens (must have crossed it in order to get to Bevs), but in my opinion they have a lot of cool food places and gyms to head to the next time you decide to come!
The overthinking segment is true. What happened to the old days in high school when your coach or teacher in gym just told you to focus on heavy compound lifts and had a basic 5x5, or 3x8-10 routine. This worked for years on beginners to get a good understanding of the weight training and how their body respond. The message should just be to lift heavy ass weight with good form and eat big for growth while you're young. You can tweak the details as you progress.
I love how Fouad does this to Paul lately "so, you like geography, Paul" and " so, you like Greek food, Paul"...and that confusion and getting everything wrong is so funny
I think weight classes would make the lines between the division more clear. There’s defiantly a way to make it more black and white with divisions. Interesting thoughts. Another great podcast!
As someone from NJ, NYC is just a lot. You can have a great experiences but it’s just marred by a bunch of other things. Getting to the location, the costs, the amount of people, the unsafe parts, homeless, trains, etc.. all that.. but then you get some of the best restaurants, great entertainment, bars, shows, sports, shopping, etc… for me.. it’s a 1-2 times a year train in to see a show or see the Christmas tree and that’s it.
I think Tonio's problem might be his chest/shoulder mobility more than anything. I had a similar issue where I literally couldn't get my shoulders back and I could see it pinching between the front delt and my chest insertion similarly to how Tonio's appears here
Great Show: Fouad do not feel bad for your excitement over Samson, you have a great eye for talent and have brought this champion to the worlds attention and wow what a talent! keep up the great work and forget the haters ( jealously is one hell of a b...ch)
The problem with weight caps in mens physique is now guys are never going to touch legs since they are covered up to allocate all that weight to their upper body.
To be middle class in New York city you need to make 100k a year minimum everything is ridiculously priced. Parking spot monthly in NYC $1000-$1500 a month.
Sergio placing behind 2 mid tier pros at a low tier show, and looking worse than he did at Legion's where he got beat by Regan who was last at the O. Quads way smaller, lats atrophying, trademark subpar conditioning. He should consider a new career.
You’re like the fifth comment I’ve read mentioning this. Most of those guys’ legs already suck a$$ (competitively speaking, for any other category), probably because they barely train them. So, who cares?! 😂🤷🏻♂️
New yorker born & raised ... 2 MORE years & Im out of here Cant take the traffic and parking your car on the street will give you anxiety at the highest level 😂
WOW 1:29:00 Hoss you think it was GH and not “Grazing” that took you to Open Size?? I honestly thought it was the grazing technique and consistency over time????
I’ve lived in NY my whole life. Grew up in the Bronx. Will always love my old neighborhood but the neighborhoods are not the same anymore and the city is def not. Way too crowded and the traffic is nuts. I work there so no choice. And even making 100k it’s still tough to live since I have a home in Long Island. Of If I could I would leave but I can’t.
Jose: How much more test do you need than 1000???… Fouad:ummm you could do a little more 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣… Fuck I love you guys!!.. That made me piss my pants.. Wish this show was in every single day

Paul and Jose are such likeable people
@satrianirocks dogshit
Paul sipping from his “Dad Husband Legend” mug had me cracking up 😂
@@requiem-ph5xx i folded when a saw that😂😂 what a legend just casually sipping from it
Tonio for sure had the edge in the prejudge comparison. He looked excellent. Ross faded a bit, so we brought him in much fuller for night show
Dom you did a great job this year with Ross, the improvements were insane! Congrats to Ross as well for getting his first pro win!
Looks like Sergio could use your help with his posing, he’s up there doing the stanky leg
Looks like he got a gift, but everyone loves Christmas
@@FouadAbiad Thank you Fouad!
@@KyrieEleison667 Thank you! In pics and in person he doesn't look huge. Hes only 230lbs haha but on stage he shines

Cool idea. They should do a past Olympia from the 90s or early 2000
Fire idea
I glad mike sees as much humor in everything paul does as i do . Paul is a riot
Paul is like the perfect best friend!!! What a great podcast especially the meatballs and hummus section.
thinking the same thing!
Mike and Paul are great combo for any podcast
Great to see Jose back on. Such a wealth of knowledge about the sport.
An over two-hour-20-minute pod can only mean two things:
1. A 60-minute argument that Fouad didn't cut.
2. Meatballs and Hummus!

Jose's back. Been a while since the Boston Mass has graces us with his appearance!
Love seeing a new one. Makes my day. Love all the guys especially Mike, Paul , Iain and James. Miss Ben and Roman too. Much Love all y’all.
Here we go boys!
You can tell Paul and fouad are best friends Bc they had nothing to talk about and they talked for 20mins😂
Love it when a new Bro Chat comes on. It makes my day
Jose s knowledge is def elite in the bb world, I learn something new every time he’s on!!
The testicle talk had me dying! Paulscience. “There may not be science behind it, but..” Thanks for the laughs today guys!
2hr 15mins 17secs, a beautiful expression of love between fouad and mike. holding hands lovingly. so sweet. lol

Fouad is such a good friend.. he knows paul so well.. as soon as paul said i love greek food, fouad was like here is the chance to make fun of him 😂😂😂
Missed Jose on the Podcast. Great Work fouad ❤
Was searching through UA-cam looking for something to watch while having my coffee. Look over at my phone and boom new bro chat.. We lit.. 💪🏾💪🏾
Yes!! So glad Jose is back! 🙌👍
Paul’s laugh is the best.
Paul - I'm always a little right Fouad!!! 😂😂😂
I was in New York for a couple weeks recently. I stayed in Pearl River but I took the trains into the city a couple times. Manhattan was always packed!
Also, I am absolutely loving the "Meatball & Hummus" segment.
Great show, see you all at Toronto 🔥
Meatball & Hummus is becoming my favorite part of the podcast! Also, as a dane watching, I feel sad you don't know where Denmark is Paul! 🥲🥲
I thought Stu pretty clearly shoulda been in 3rd based off the live feed and more crisp pictures that were produced. Density, fullness and conditioning were all in his favor over Sergio
Mike, Paul and Jose....... ohhhhhh this is going to be a good one 😅😅😅
Mike is the best addition to the show yet. Hilarious. Always love to see Paul and Jose too. You’re the GOAT Hoss!
it is impossible not to like Paul! and the friendship and chemestry between Paul and Fouad is golden! That laugh! Great entertainment.
I saw that podcast on NICK STRENGTH AND POWER when he said that about Stew not smiling and I thought that was a little absurd too. LOL
Did Ben end up helping that guy with his plant? Lol FYI bloodshot is fire best pumps ever! Keep killing it hoss
Yes he did! And thank you!
Always excited for a new bro chat!
"I am always a little bit right" needs to be a t-shirt
Greek cheese “OOPA” 😂😂 Paul’s the best!
Great start to the day
Most wives don’t want to hear about your past sexual affairs because they don’t want you to want to discuss theirs!
Nobody really drives into nyc, public transportation is the main mean of travel for daily commuters. Trains, bus, ferry. I personally take the ferry from NJ and it’s a 8 minute ride across the Hudson River
Most people who live or work in NYC don’t drive to work. Public transportation is huge around here which removes all the traffic issues
I’m curious to know if anyone else was at the Cali pro and saw what I saw, I was there all day and it was pretty clear that tonio was ahead in pre judging but in finals, I, as well as everyone around me had Ross winning the show! He came back at night looking so much better
So glad Jose is back I hope he can get on here more frequently again

Love Paul and Jose together
1:44:35 Jose “geriatric podcast” 🤣🤣🤣
I live in NY and I can’t believe the one day I didn’t hang out around downtown you were here.
Always Nice to see you guys again!
Definitely someone sitting in New York traffic listening to this LOL
The "I'm always a little bit right" is actually a good t-shirt idea

Fouad I started watching Ted Lasso cause of you and it's one of the greatest shows I have ever watched.
Nick’s Smile & Power 🤣

Class podcast guys especially the overthinking part of bodybuilding.
Paul Pete Rose!!😂😂 Good one!
I love the Fouad and Paul "After Hours" sessions.
Damn I was YES to almost all of the food questions. FML 😂

Was waiting for this to drop :)
Iron Rev is in my hometown. Would’ve loved to visit my parents get in a session and meet the Hosstile crew if I had known
Anger eating is REAL! Thanks for confirming I’m a good addict! 😂
The problem with weight caps in mens physique is now guys are never going to touch legs since they are covered up to allocate all that weight to their upper body.
Sick pfp, bruh!
For the love of all that is holy.... Tuesday is saved!

Iain is gonna show why hes a top level Olympian right here. Cant wait
Damnit I’m definitely a food addict lol, I get a case of the “fuck it’s” all the time
There’s a huge difference between NYC and the state of NY
YES! I missed Jose!
Sergio placing behind 2 mid tier pros at a low tier show, and looking worse than he did at Legion's where he got beat by Regan who was last at the O. Quads way smaller, lats atrophying, trademark subpar conditioning. He should consider a new career.
😂
Paul when Tyler gets hone you bring uncle Fouad, Ian , Mike all in tank tops pumped and let the Kid sleep at home 😂
Smiles to failure are now going to be included in my routine
“There may not be any science behind it” 😂
“I’ll open the window” lmao
You gotta be careful about putting a cap on mens physique Because there just going to shrink the legs to make the cap
You’re like the fifth comment I’ve read mentioning this. Most of those guys’ legs already suck a$$ (competitively speaking, for any other category), probably because they barely train them. So, who cares?! 😂🤷🏻♂️
Who else goes and makes another cup of tea/coffee once he says.. last question 😂 you know you have 30mins still to go ✌️❤️🇬🇧
El mejor podcast in the game
New yorker born & raised ... 2 MORE years & Im out of here Cant take the traffic and parking your car on the street will give you anxiety at the highest level 😂
I live in New York and hate it lol. A lot of people have to live here not for work, but to be close to friends and family.
That makes sense.
You guys sold me I’m ordering GH right now
Gotta love the old head episodes 😁
Yes Jose is back!!
I am from Long Island NY and it sucks here. Trying to make moves to get the heck out of here
WOW
1:29:00 Hoss you think it was GH and not “Grazing” that took you to Open Size?? I honestly thought it was the grazing technique and consistency over time????
Well in terms of gear. Cuz the question was only about gear not everything else.
I’ve lived in NY my whole life. Grew up in the Bronx. Will always love my old neighborhood but the neighborhoods are not the same anymore and the city is def not. Yeeees🎉 thanks for all the kick ass content
I’ll see everyone Saturday night at fat fork I guess 😂😂
NYC traffic is ridiculous and such a headache every day. Waiting for my other half to move already 😂
Paul’s entire ideology is just broscience. Nut broscience
Jose: How much more test do you need than 1000???… Fouad:ummm you could do a little more 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣… Fuck I love you guys!!.. That made me piss my pants.. Wish this show was in every single day
