14 series has much thermals as you can see in 3d mark test its giving better score than 15. i would say A15 is still best chipset and better than A16 and A16 is only 5 to 8 percent more powerful than A15, but A16 has bad thermals, i would say A15 is still on top.
Thermals can be improved with Updates. But as it is Apple I don't think so it will make iPhone 14 and 13's cameras better than 15. So there is no point in rejecting iPhone 15 just for some heating. iPhone 15 has much better cameras and USB Type-C.
