Why would one get an error message saying “Connected to Network but timed out waiting for IP address” ? Followed all of the instructions however rather than saying “connection successful” I get that message instead.
How long does this process typically take with a TouchMix 16? I have followed the instructions as advertised, and it still won’t establish a connection. Am I just not waiting long enough?
Had the nicer 2 days. Followed these steps. Touchmix 8. New router. Recommended adapter. Nothing. Just stays in the configuring network.. I can connect with the dongle but the signal is not strong enough for live playing. Kind of worthless without external control. May go back to my Soundcraft mixer. Never had any issues with networking on it.
I updated the Touchmix 30..now it does not see the router..that I used to use every day!!! Says there is no cable connected!! the same system hooks up to my Touchmix 16..(.Not updated)
Is there an alternative to bringing a separate router? Can I use a higher speed, or upgraded dongle instead? Is the TouchMix 16 compatible w/ any dongle?
No it's only one router per mixer. Your speed in the router doesn't matter. It will make no difference because it's not downloading large data from the internet. It's merely communicating remote control input data from the iPad to the mixer and viceversa. Any router should work.
Hai,my touch mix 30 is connected client network and it is not visible on iPad application ,i am able to ping the device .is there is any specific ports to be open to communicate .
Setup the router so the wifi devices connect in 5G mode (not 2.4G) so as to stop interference from digital wireless units or wifi devices (2.4G) on stage.
@@Hachiro is the TouchMix 16 compatible with any other dongle? I have connectivity issues, and I was thinking of getting a higher speed dongle, instead of bringing out a separate router to my gigs
Can you give me any help? Touchmix 30 says No Cable Detected. I've plugged two different cables in from the router and it still says No Cable Detected.
Touchmix 16 says Error1234 and keeps searching after touching Auto IP Address. I'm not in the WAN port, I've got a recommended adapter for ethernet to usb. Any suggestions?
Make sure that usb to Ethernet adapter is equipped with the ASIX AX88772 chip some of the listed adapters on the Qsc website no longer are made with that chip and the page has not been updated
I've called QSC and only getting voice-mail. The Touchmix 30 says No Cable Detected no matter how many cables I connect it to the Wi-Fi router with. I put a pencil in to reset the router as well and still no luck with this expensive junk. Excuse me, just upset because the cheaper mixers I have no problems connecting to routers.
@reydiablo007 the church sent it in for repair and they said it's nothing wrong with it and it was working again when it came back so I left it alone after that.

I’ve got 3 iPads, the new ones don’t connect well with the built in dongle, glad I kept my old iPad Air 2 still works great!

hi, is rj45 categorie important? (5e or 6 at 1gbit/s vs 6a or 7 at 10 gbit/s)

Use a 16. With router or without, we lose connectivity to the qsc app. Depending on the place we get brief connectivity or none at all. Any solution?

I plugged my laptop in with the ethernet cable to the router and web pages work fine. I have only a flashing green light on back of the Touchmix 30.
The Behringer XR18 at my other church connects flawlessly, not sure why this Touchmix 30 has issues.

Have you tried disconnecting the mixer completely from power? For some reason that’s what I had to do. Shut it down didn’t cut it

No luck at all. Tried 2 diff brand routers. Ipad does not read board name, board does not find ipad...
