So many of them have fallen asleep since this video. Good night sons and daughters of God who are in this video, and those who have commented on this post that have also slept on.
I am so humbled and grateful to have grown up listening to these beautiful people that brought comfort and strength while performing for the Lord. I miss many of them but I’ll cherish the memories and the message to my final breath. I know I’ll re-unite and find my mom and dad sitting in the front row.
I pray for our world and our Country, but I’m so worried about the younger folks who will be carrying the message to future generations. I hope people share this beautiful part of life with their kids and grandkids.
Oh Lord, I pray for peace and kindness in our Country and pray that you bring us together. Amen

I grew up listening to the Happy Goodman Family on my Local TV station.This was a hour program on Sunday mornings..They just a small group of singers
I heard this beautiful Gospel song on my car radio several times when I traveled back and forth to work in the early seventies. One Sunday while driving home and listening to Gospel I sort of prayed that the dj would play it again. He did. He commented at the end that he felt compelled to go get it out of the library and play it. Believe me I was thrilled.
I came across this song yesterday for the first time and I can't just stop replying it... I miss my mother and looking forward to meeting her in heaven and just tell her how I made it through struggle
Goodness, everytime I listen to this song I just can't refrain my tears from flowing. It so beautiful and emotional. When singing together often time I got overcame and sung with a crying voice.
Such a beautiful song! The words brought tears to my eyes knowing that some of them are gone and also thinking about other love ones who are no longer here with us today. May their dear souls rest in everlasting peace and may we all meet again on that glorious morning 😢😭
We no longer have many of those saints of God with us anymore but wow, heaven is rejoicing.

My aunt passed away last Saturday and her memorial service is Friday. She will be missed by all.R.I.P. Aunt Nellie.

I know exactly how you feel. I lost my darling wife in 2019 and recently my mother passed away. I am sadly not a religious person but I always find gospel music lifts me up and gives me hope.

Southern Gospel Music singers are my heroes. Some people have sports athletes that they look up too and call them their heroes "nothing wrong with that" but since I was 14 " in 1969" in which was my first Southern gospel music Concert I went to, That was when I fell in love with Southern Gospel music. Now I'm 66 and still love Southern Gospel music. Southern Gospel Music is my love and my life and that is what keeps me going 👍👍🙏🙏

There is one thing I asked God during the last days of my mother, since I was with her, I asked God to give me one chance to prepare mom spiritually, and He granted me the opportunity. Not all of us will get such an opportunity to prepare, some of us it might be sudden😭.
We need to be prepared every second, the second advent is very near, the door of probation is closing soon and the one we have been waiting for years, Jesus Christ, the son of man will appear from the East.

To add a correction I wrote down the words to If We Never Meet Again in 1982. I originally wrote the song 🎵 in 1970 when my grandmother was put in the nursing home and afterwards I was abused by my step grandfather and almost died.

I wrote If We Never Meet Again in 1970. My Grandma Mae was being put into a nursing home in another town. The song 🎵 was originally written in Flemish and translated by my mother into English.
