Your top four are spot-on. I think a lot of us John Lennon fans are really moving Plastic Ono band to number one and imagine to the second slot. I'm sure glad that you had mind games at number 3 cuz that's one of my all-time favorites and it doesn't get enough love in my opinion. Excellent ranking.
Thank you. Mind Games and Walls and Bridges are so close in my opinion you could easily flip flop them. But Mind Games just really resonated with me on that last listen.
@@JCStorm76 Double Fantasy is a great album. It’s like splitting hairs with a lot of these. They can easily interchange. At this moment though I rank it where I rank it. We’re all going to have different lists, and that’s what makes these videos interesting. If we were all the same, why would we rank the albums at all?
@@BeatleDustino True. It’s my number one. I feel it often gets slighted for some reason, it has twice as many hits as any of his other albums and that’s not a coincidence I feel. So I just thought I’d defend it. It’s all in good fun
Great ranking video buddy. The only real surprise for me was seeing Mind Games come in higher than Walls and Bridges which on some days could be my number 2. Still, I enjoyed your little run through these album and look forward to George's stuff getting the same treatment.
Yeah, that one shocked me too. But I had just listened to both the night before I shot that, and something about Mind Games just sat stronger with me. Those top four could easily swap places with each other on any given day. Glad you enjoyed the video. My George journey is going to end on his birthday it turns out. I didn’t even realize at first that was happening. So be looking for my George ranking on the 25th.
I totally forgot to mention 2 Virgins and the Wedding Album. Mind Games is great, agreed on Intuition. I think that song might have been what helped it bump up to my #3. Glad you’re liking the channel. Thanks for watching from down under!
@@BeatleDustino Was only joking about those 2 albums. Not really “musical “, as such. Avante Garbage, perhaps?...😀✌️ My original UA-cam name was Beatle #9.
All of my vinyl I showed here are from that Lennon vinyl box set that came out a few years back. I believe the only original Lennon vinyl I have is a copy of Double Fantasy I picked up in Minneapolis at Electric Fetus a couple of years back.
@@samstjohn1994 yeah, I wondered if people would think that. I just got that box not long ago. I have an unboxing video of it that I had done after I got it. Found it on Target’s app yet for a very reasonable price. Those box sets like that pop up there all the time if you’re watching. Like you finding The Rolling Stones Mono box there. Hope you’re enjoying that set.
Imagine is easily my #1 John Lennon album. Not only do you have Imagine but you have Jealous Guy, How do you Sleep, How?, Crippled Inside, and Oh My Love. Plastic Ono Band would be 2nd then I’m not as familiar with the other albums.
4: Walls And Bridges
3: Double Fantasy
2: Imagine
1: Plastic Ono Band
Not a bad top 4. At one point I think my list looked a lot like that. And in the future very easily could.

Really? Double Fantasy is as good if not better than all of them

@@BeatleDustino Will do. Im doing a live show with Joe Mayo on George's Birthday should be fun

Good and well done. One thing I will mention is that Ringo was the drummer on POB and George was lead guitarist on Imagine.Thank you Destino.
That they were. Thanks for watching!
Informative and intelligent discussion. Well done!
Thank you for the kind words.
I was waiting for 2 virgins and wedding album...😀👌 Mind Games is my favourite. Love Intuition.I enjoy yr channel. Greetings from Sydney.

Nice ranking here Dustin. Believe it or not, the only solo albums by John that I own are Double Fantasy and Rock n Roll. Nicely done.

Those two can honestly switch at any given moment. Both are so great. Just the other day POB just struck the right chord with me.
