Makes sense because it’s implied that the war started around 1912 since the guttermen where used in trench warfare, which is something old, and V1 was lasted updated at 2112

1:36 the choir here after reading the Earthmover's lore log gave me chills, if anything this is the theme that played when humanity was wiped by the war

I do infact support him. I really like how you incorporated it though
they didnt die by war though, the new peace arrived and then they opened the gates to hell, they were soo overwhelmed they didnt fight back and they all died in a matter of hours, the great war was ww1 in ultrakill but it instead went for 200 years, and instead of making nuclear bombs the earth movers were the nuclear bombs.

@@XD-sc4ix the tanks in ultrakill are the guttertanks lol, and yes theyre powered from blood because of cost efficiency
the first 7-4 playthrough is an experience i cant get back, the absolute scale of this thing youre climbing on, all while some desolate ost plays as you reach the empty city on its back, devoid of all life, before going in and the pure toneshift of the adrenaline rush that is the entire interior experience.
I wish I went to this level blind. I already knew about the whole level through vids and memes

Honestly, calling this "The VIOLENT Mix" fits so well. It's like if War Without Reason followed the same instruments as the other songs of the violence layer, while still being the machine-based boss level that it is.

Metroid Prime's Parasite Queen motifs hit me in the nostalgia
okay, this is straight-up a masterpiece, this cover definitely gives War Without Reason a more genuine meaning by listening to it. especially where the leitmotif (possibly P-3's leitmotif?) at 0:30 starts, it's so good to the point that the cover makes it sound more meaningful. your work is amazing!
I dont think i deserve so much praise but you should support the other remix/cover creators that are in the description. I only used their masterpierce to mix in one video together, so i basically dont own anything here. But thanks anyways.
It's probably a little too similar to Requiem leitmotif for Hakita tu use it in P-3, but who knows
i personally think that p-3 will be shown in layer 9, since the 3rd act layer is the only one that hasn't been used for a secret or prime soul (act 1, layer 2, act 2 layer 4, then act 3 layer 9)

But fuck if you gave this song more of a Dramatic punch, it doesnt go well with gameplay but fuck, just listening at this version without anything else feels better.
I don't think that'll be the Leitmotif. I think the piano leads over "HEAR! Siren Call of the Dead" are what we'll get in P-3. They feel more unique compared to the other two, and a lot more desolate and bleak; fittingly. On top of that, 4-2 and 2-2 are the motifs for Sisyphus and Minos respectively. This song is on 7-2. That could be a coincidence though. (ua-cam.com/video/x_p38JbVG9o/v-deo.html this video gave me the idea)

i just have to appreciate here the opening melody, and how the notes are more reminiscent of an alarm going off than actual music, it also fits really well with the fact that the earthmover has just spotted and failed to apprehend you as you begin the lobotomy process

Considering that war robots are theorized to play combat music, this technically could be the song from Earthmover's perspective, considering he is much more advanced than V1.

I absolutely love this. I was so happy when I fought the Earthmover for the first time, bc it reminds me so much of Metroid. Especially the escape sequence, and the fact that one might interpret the 1000-THR to be M-THR when you fight its brain.
M-THR's Brain = Mother Brain.
IK Hakita said it was meant to be Sen-THR, but both the Roman and Japanese interpretations are applicable when the allusions line up just right
