Sorry to hear the first bite sized rides video only had limited success, personally I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also really enjoyed this video and I’ll be taking the off-road shortcut next time I ride it. I have actually been up to the Stupa twice this past fortnight, (while dodging rain showers), but I usually carry on to the IC1 then head down to São Marcos and pick up the N267 towards Monchique and then head down either the M502 to Silves or turn off at Alferce and ride down the M1073. Really pleased I’ve watched this video though because I’ve never actually paid any attention to the turning to your off road shortcut, so it’s somewhere new for me to explore. My wife was watching with me and when she saw the off-road section and heard your reassurances she wants to ride it with me on her bike. So a big thank you RM 😀👍
That’s great to hear! The first 200m of the off-road section is the worst, as it’s relatively steep, so don’t let it put you off. Let me know how you get on😊👍
I certainly wouldn't mind more Bite-Sized Rides for route inspiration! Love coming to the Algarve. Rented a Transalp in Faro last October and did a route up the N2, up to Almodovar if I'm not mistaken. Coming back in May, definitely renting a bike again. Haven't been able to convince the wife yet to move permanently 😅

Really enjoyed this, I normally do a similar route on my 125cc, coming from quarteira all the way to the cafe, into the wind turbines and taking a right towards ameixial, returning through the n2 till Loulé. Gonna give this a try since Im always getting lost on dirt road with the small keeway 😂 Thanks Rocket an 💪👍
Not sure if you‘re familiar with Comporta but I‘ll be there in June. Is there anywhere you know of in the area where I could rent a motorbike for a couple of days? Am travelling with family so I can‘t come down on my own bike. Thanks.
Can't help with the rental, but you should find somewhere in Setubal. I would highly recommend a ride through the Arrabida national park, some fabulous views :)
