you should learn how to write in cursive Hebrew. many people who speak in hebrew usually write in cursive, but there’s nothing wrong with writing in print!
@@SOCORROSILVA-in7px it honestly depends on you. print might be easier for memory since text such as books and maybe stuff online will always be in print but handwriting most use cursive. so if you already memorized print, then you should learn cursive next!
@@SOCORROSILVA-in7px I think print because its a little more similar to English letters also its much easier to learn it and then move to cursive hebrew. Also cursive hebrew is only used for hand writing so you won't be able to use google in Hebrew if you learn cursive. But you can learn both they aren't that different, school in israel usually teach cursive first and by the end of the first year they start teaching cursive
I have been learning Biblical Hebrew for many years now. The most important thing to do is to get reading the Hebrew from the Bible (Tanach) as soon as possible. The reasons why this is so important is that we learn languages in sentences like when we were children learning our native language. The idea is that you read sentences that mean something. It is then easier to memorise the words in the sentences that you have read because you need to know them to understand the verse you have read. You are also learning grammar as you go along. You don't have to memorise the vocabulary at all. You just memorise it long enough to understand the verse. Once you reasonably understand the verse (it does not have to be a perfect understanding) you move onto the next verse. It is OK if you forget the vocabulary very soon after learning what it means. It is OK because you will be learnig new words in the next verse. I find that two things happen as you continue to read. You memorise the words in each verse for longer and longer before you forget them as you read over time. You just get better at memorising the words without trying. Also, the words that occur often will keep on recurring. You will find yourself noticing that you have seen that word before. As you read more you will see more and more repeats of words and grammar etc. An interlinear Hebrew Bible would be a good idea. The best idea is to use the book, "The Analytical Key to the Old Tesatament" by John Joseph Owens. It breaks everything down in detail. The morphology of each word is given. It also gives the dictionary word that you can look up. The best way to get it on Logos on www.logos.com. It will cost about £170. It is worth it. You can get Hebrew lexicons as well on this site. One of them is free. You can also get Hebrew Bibles that you can click on and get the definition in a lexicon immediately. Best wishes.

Ms. Nicole.. Im also trying to study hebrew.. I came across this as im searching for youtube video tutorials And I Appreciate your video.. There's a lot of questions in my mind regarding Hebrew.. Can I ask for a little help from You? 🙏🥺 Ms. Nicole Bernadette? Please?
Question: What made you want to study hebrew? As a jewish person, i’m honored, just wondering! Also uhm,, fun fact: I can’t speak hebrew, lol… but i want to learn my language, so I’m studying with you!,
Hey WillowJae, thanks for asking!☺️ I’m Christian so my main motivation for studying Hebrew was to understand the Bible in one of its original languages - also, I think the language is very beautiful!! Would love to visit Israel one day too☺️ All the best with your Hebrew studies!!
As a native hebrew speaker I would suggest to listen to some Israeli songs, I think it might help alot. Btw, In hebrew when you approach a male or a female you need to change the ending in some cases. For example at 0:40 you said "Em ani ose taoyot" (If I am making mistakes as a male should say)! Women should say "Em ani osA tayot". Ose = Male , Osa = Female I am studying a language my self now and I have noticed that one of the things that makes hebrew more challenging is prob the ending for male and female. Try to keep your focus on that in the future. Hope I helped and keep it up!
*שלום ידיד שלי, אני גם לומד עברית גם וגם בתנ׳׳ך ומודרנית וגם אני גר בירושלים עכשיו. אני מקוה שאת לומדת הרבה עברית ב2021 שנה. אני מקוה שיהוה אלוהים עזור לך.*
i’m a native hebrew speaker and your intro was very good the only mistakes are you spoke in male verbs so the correct way to say your sentence would be ani osa not ose and ani lomedet not lomed also ana slah li is correct but is not said on the daily so something like bevakasha tislehoo li would be more casual
The Christian bible was written in Greek. Jews do not consider it part of the Bible in the same way that Christians do not consider the Book of Mormon to be part of the Bible. The Bible is the Jewish Bible and was written in Hebrew with a very small part (mostly in book of Daniel) written in Aramaic.
Oh my gosh!!!!! God loves me. I am learning myself and teaching my daughter. So Biblical Hebrew has the vowel and modern Hebrew doesn’t, is that the only difference?
Awesome!! I think there are more differences like past, present, and future tense and also the vocabulary used may be slightly different☺️ I’m still a beginner so I’m not very sure about the exact differences but hopefully this link will be useful: langfocus.com/language-features/how-different-are-modern-hebrew-and-biblical-hebrew/

That's really nice and kinda helpful video, especially for beginners. I'm wondering if you can name the textbooks which you use in studying Hebrew. Because I'm studying Hebrew too and I want to find a books where I can find as much as it can be information abut grammar and derivations of verbs.
תודה רבה!
What Hebrew book were you learning from here? Did it go hand in hand with a course? How's the progress on Hebrew going?
Nicole Bernadette, thank you very for this video. I am also studying Hebrew and find your study pattern helpful and well organised, unlike my own. I agree, Bible Hub and Hebrew songs are also very helpful. Jesus' blessings on your study. Toda raba.
Ps copying your method.

What textbook resource are you utilizing as you're covering the Hebrew content?
I was actually studying Hebrew with the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies so they provided all the materials and notes that I used to study☺️👍🏼
cool. I'd study with this language like this if I had more free time. I just learned to read hebrew to read the bible original old testament texts.
I hear itzik Dadya he’s sing there’s a new song called tefila what means tefila l think that means like praying 🙏🏻 or the Jewish bible
Yalla
Question: What made you want to study hebrew? As a jewish person, i’m honored, just wondering! Also uhm,, fun fact: I can’t speak hebrew, lol… but i want to learn my language, so I’m studying with you!,
Hey WillowJae, thanks for asking!☺️ I’m Christian so my main motivation for studying Hebrew was to understand the Bible in one of its original languages - also, I think the language is very beautiful!! Would love to visit Israel one day too☺️ All the best with your Hebrew studies!!
@@NicoleBernadette Aah, thank you! Christan culture is very beautiful too, and good luck to you too :).
Ose = Male , Osa = Female
I am studying a language my self now and I have noticed that one of the things that makes hebrew more challenging is prob the ending for male and female. Try to keep your focus on that in the future.
Hope I helped and keep it up!
Thank you so much Ran☺️🙏🏼
Then I'll wait until you teach us modern ivrit.. 'xoz i need it..
שלום
Christian here too

Nicole, is there an online link that provides Hebrew pronunciation?
Besides the links that I mentioned in the video and description bar, I think this link is quite helpful too☺️ forvo.com/languages/he/

כל הכבוד!
You are soooo adorable 😍😍😇
i’m a native hebrew speaker and your intro was very good the only mistakes are you spoke in male verbs so the correct way to say your sentence would be ani osa not ose and ani lomedet not lomed also ana slah li is correct but is not said on the daily so something like bevakasha tislehoo li would be more casual
I've been studying the language, my advice talk to someone who could speak the language
טוב❤️
את יכולה לקרוא עברית ללא נקודות?
It's so complicated😭
כל הכבוד😄
as a hebrew speaker you talk really good but a tip i think you should work on youre girl and boy differences
Please is there anyone wanna start learning hevrew with me, we can learn it and practice it together
@@NicoleBernadette yes it does! Thank you 🙏🏾 I haven’t looked at your page yet but I definitely subscribed and hope you continue to make content.
Even if it’s a silent five hour study with me. I would sit there and study with you. It’s great because I know when ever I want to study I would know I have a study buddy.
(I’ve seen medical students make these kind of videos and it’s a nice concept)
