What would look nice is some gold dry brushing of something over the patterns. Like just a little - enough to show off the pattern on the ones that are very closely shaded.
Love these!!! I can tell you when I used silk screens it is NOT recommended to add any adhesive to them. It will clog the screens and render them useless.
Its funny I have watched many jesmonite videos and never been over wowed or interested in this medium. This video has changed my mind. I love this idea and I agree this medium is the way to go.
Purely Pigments work beautifully in jesmonite. They don’t leave any color on anything but the jesmonite. Sandy Sanders talks about them all the time. I could probably get a couple for you if you want to try them.
Beautiful Claire. The stencil mark on the dark purple may be caused by sweating as the coasters were not dry. I love the effect on the natural one but personally, I think the coloured ones need a darker raised pattern.
Love these Claire!! Love the idea of "puffy" Jesmonite as a paint instead, of paint for silkscreens 😅 The white one would also look stunning with a gold pen marker, gold acrylic paint or pearl white paint❤
All are lush but purple is my favourite. If I couldn't get the mark away I attach tiny gems dotted. Yours would look great with gold gems dotted around the mandala. Think Indian sari vibes 💜😊 xx
I think for the perfect color matches, maybe use an iridescent sealer to highlight the raised bits better. But with saying that these are stunning regardless.
They're all really beautiful. I just got indoors from my work space, and now I'm tempted to go back just to try this. I'd advice against adhesive spray - not because it might leave marks, but because it will block the screen and ruin the stencil. It would work with old-fashioned plastic stencils (and possibly make them work a bit like the silk screens), but silk screen is fabric and it would get clogged. Did you ever try the screens with an actual squeegee, with jesmonite? I know you had one with the acrylics. I'm thinking, using a rubber squeegee with a firm pressure might be less abrasive on the stencil. With silk screen, you need to push the paint (or jesmonite) through the screen, not just lay it on top, which is why the rub method works - but a wider squeegee at the correct angle should theoretically work too...
Truly beautiful and mesmerizing creations today,Ms Claire 😍😍,loved the creation process. The silk screenshot are a wonderful things to add extra Beauty to aby creation, the final outcomes were truly amazing, Ms Claire 💜💜💜💜.Missed you in today's live
What a great idea!! Truthfully, I love the natural one, but the peacock color is definitely a close second…. The adhesive spray would probably clog up the screen….
I love both the dark colours & the white. I would be interested if you could make the natural mix with a pearl natural colour & then use it over the silk screen on natural.
I thought the cream on was nice but I prefer the different colors on colors are my favorite. I LOVE the marbling and would be happy to take those off your hands, any day LOL
They are beautiful! Now that they have raised areas, couldn't a silicone mold be made? Then a consistant color could be poured into the silicone mold. Just a thought
Absolutely gorgeous I just wish I could buy Eco poor here in Alaska. We do have similar stuff like resin Crete, but it’s just not the same. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love the latest video it was very good 👍 I was wondering can you use the silkscreens while using resin? Like u get your tray mold, place the silkscreen down the use, you mica powder, then peel off, then fill with resin! Would that work?
I think the white stands out the most ,mainly because the white reflects light so it shows all the highlights and the shadowing always shows more dramatic.Using the colours ,the ones similar did not stand out so well as the colours absorb the light. Therefore in this case you have to rely on the shadow more to gain the effect..The one also my favourite stood out as the top colour was deeper. So that’s why that one was much more impressive, still not because of the differences in light. You would find you will get the same effect of the White if you did pastel colours. Its just the colours you chose were so dark..I think they look fab and it’s a great idea though…Sorry it’s the science side of me,and I understand colour as I paint.
I'm curious if you could use acrylic paint pens and actual stencils instead of silk screens? I have pounds of hydrocal to play with and wonder if it would work.
Claire what about Liquid Glass as a top coat. I’ve just ordered some Jasminite and I have a bottle of Liquid Glass, I’m trying to save a bit of money, crafts are costing me a fortune. Love these things. 💕. PS. I’ve been using Stone Resin, it’s awful.
All youur work is so beautiful really great i was wondering if you used a blow dryer on a heat setting if it might revive your mold bring back a little stick'em just an idea ?

The darker blue with the darker shade for the print is my favourite as well. I like this slight difference in tone and that colour is stunning!
I think a different tone is better than an exact match. The darker tone on to makes it more elegant
So pretty! And yes girl we could listen and watch anything you’re talking about and showing us!😊
They are all beautiful Claire, The dark blue one is my favorite too. ❤
Subtle and yet stunningly beautiful, despite the accidental marbeling.
Love the outcome. I need to go search the differences of Jesmonite, EcoPour and Magic Pour. Love your video though. Just my 1 cent
Yes, yes, YES!!!! Thank you so much Claire. That is the texture I’ve been looking for. I can’t believe it worked with a silkscreen!!
I think they’re gorgeous, if you don’t like the effect, could you use a coloured wax to high light the raised patterns. Thank you Claire x❤
Ahhh thankyoooo and yes absolutely should work beautifully 😍
Beautiful! I also like the darker colors. Thanks for sharing❤❤❤❤❤
What an awesome result! They look amazing. I definitely agree that the dark purple coaster looks the best, and the white one...fantastic 😁💙

Fantastic! I think the tone on tone looks best with the Natural color. I'd like darker or lighter for others, just a shade tho

Those turned out beautiful 😍
Love them, do extra love the darker

They are all gorgeous !!! thankyou so much for answering the questions helps alot
I love them all Claire ❤❤❤
I wonder if cutting a stencil out of vinyl using your cricut would work instead of the silk screens 🤔. Absolutely love the natural one…. 😍
I definitely think a shade or 2 lighter or darker would be better so you can really see it. 💜
Beautiful Claire!
Much love, Nat from Brisbane, Australia. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
I thought the cream on was nice but I prefer the different colors on colors are my favorite. I LOVE the marbling and would be happy to take those off your hands, any day LOL
Beautiful costers Claire 😇

I love these! As for using a tacky spray to bring back the sticky, wouldn't it clog up the fine holes of the screen?
Love these 💜🩵
I so wanna try eco pour ....jus can't afford it...those are turning out beautiful 😍
BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous
I just wish I could buy Eco poor here in Alaska. We do have similar stuff like resin Crete, but it’s just not the same. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Omg amazing xx
Super lovely 😍 😮😊❤
Awesomeness
This was such an amazing learning video. I was wondering why was the natural one so much more shiny ✨than the other ones?
The are all Beautiful

Silk screen try blow drying it best of luck !?!
Ooooo that could work 😍😍😍
Can you modge podge the surface and while still tacky stick down old less sticky silk screen and then let dry and then seal ?
I think I would have put the light patterns on the dark coasters and the dark patterns on the light ones :)
I’m not sure but wouldn’t the spray coat the screen part and not allow the colors to seep through?
Hello Ms Claire 😊
What if you mixed in pearl pigments into silk screening jesmonite?
Would not stencils work better than silk screens?
where do you get the jesmonite ac100
Hi Claire 😀
I would have liked to see white or the color. Or color on white .
😊
To answer your question I think it's better not to color match perfectly.
Wait… it’s TK Maxx in your neck of the woods?!
It’s TJ Maxx in the States!
