I moved out of Bay City in 1975. I used to live on Hidden Road right on the Kalkawlin river.. that was fun being able to take the boat out to the bay.. I got it honestly say I don’t miss it though… there is so much more in this world trust me.. Bay City is a fantastic place to be FROM….
St. Laurent used to have hardwood floors like the Mill End store. It used to be a lumberjack tavern and had two trap doors for guys to escape down into an underground tunnel system when they needed an escape. Those new owners covered up the trap doors with linoleum.
I am going to check out Saint Laurent brothers candy when I am in Bay city Monday heard they sell fudge like fudge and check out their peanut butter heard it is made at the store and taste way better then peanut butter sold at the grocery store.
