cavetown has actually talked a lot about how they listened to twenty one pilots a lot at the time he wrote “this is home” so it makes sense that the song reminds you of TOP :)
If you ever listen to Cavetown more, It would be wonderful if you could listen to his songs "Candle", "Talk To Me", and "It's U". Those three are really touching, comforting ones that don't get brought up enough.
I really love cavetown. This is home really holds a special place in my heart. as a nonbinary person, that song really hit home for me when I was figuring out who I was. Lemon boy also hit me cause it reminds of one of my childhood friends that I made during elementary school, we were friends til he had to move during middle school and we lost contact afterwards til he out of the blue messaged me on gmail in the middle of high school, he’s doing well for himself and got himself a girlfriend. We lost contact again after that, but I’m just really happy for him for how far he’s gone
he used to be into twenty one pilots pretty largely and wrote music inspired by it until he eventually wrote music like juliet, boys will be bugs, and lemon boy. he has a lot of older covers of twenty one pilots songs and they are pretty cool!
Yay more Cavetown!! If you like This Is Home and haven't already, I HIGHLY recommend checking out his song Home. It's a remake of This Is Home and probably my favorite version of the two. I absolutely adore the music video for it as well, it's very cool. Since you checked out the original version of Devil Town in the last video, I also highly recommend the Devinyl Splits No. 11 version of it from 2019! That's one of my favorite Cavetown songs tbh. A couple more Cavetown songs I bet you'd enjoy if you did a part 3 are Boys Will Be Bugs, Sweet Tooth, and Banana Bread (another fav of mine)
thank you for mentioning my comment! it meant a lot, and i’m so glad you loved these! i’d love to see a part 3 (maybe the album worm food?) as i’m sure a lot of others would as well :D
pleaseee make the part 3, if you want to absolutely sob i suggest "green", "just add water", or "empty bed" (from 2018, 2019, and 2020 in order). if you want newer music i suggest songs from his album "worm food" that came out a year ago, specifically ones like "worm food", "grey space (ft chloe moriondo)", or "wasabi"
some songs are like the tops ones, most of them are the old ones, thats because robin (cavetown) was/is a really big fan of them, also he used to do twenty one pilots covers that u can fid on his channel:)
WE NEED THAT PART 3 BBYYYYYYYYY if you ever do pls do two of his newer songs, Frog and 1994, and some of his older ones like 10 Feet Tall, Empty Bed, Jack's Song, Big Bowl In The Sky (Those last two are super sad ones tho) anddddd Pigeon
all 3 of these songs hold such a special place in my heart... this is home-- im trans lol obvious reasons meteor shower- first ever cavetown song i listened to, this song in particular hold suchhhhh a special place in my heart it gives me sooo much nostalgia and just overall good comfy cozy lovely vibes just aaahhh lemon boy- just the getting to accept and love the parts of yourself that took a bit longer to love...
This is actually my FAVORITE artist you've reacted to, if you want more recommendations there's Grocery Store, Empty Bed, Juliet, and Sweet Tooth that I find to be some of the best, plus alone an obvious from his newest album, and he even redid This is Home, and it's called Home (this is just suggestions to listen to on your own time, not for a video)
If you make a part 3, i reccomend Nostalgia in my Bedroom, Bg Noise, and Psychometry [bc NOBODY IS RECCOMENDING SONGS FROM THEIR 2ND ALBUM EXCEPT FOR JACK'S SONG]
16/04/16 is such an underrated album!! i love cavetown, and that’s by far my favorite album. psychometry is so lovely. my favorite song from the album is probably calpol!!
omg i was honestly dissapointed because i made myself think we'd never get a part 2 of cavetown but we got it!! and yesyesyesyesyes definetly do a part 3 for this!! id reccomend grocery store, fall in love with a girl, and sweet tooth!! :D
Loved the video! I already predicted that you are gona be suprised by the lil electric guitar at the end haha. I love cavetown, i have been to one of their concerts too! I would really like to see a part 3 of this cavetown series :D If you dont do it tho, thats okay too. I really recomend the songs 'hug all ur friends' and 'fool', they are really special and have deep meanings!
The fact that everyone kept suggesting you this is home, and not home, which is a version of this is home that is engineered specifically to make you sob your eyes out, is WILD to me. Also just a better song, if you do another cavetown video I totally recommend home
Justin listening to baywithuke: too much ukulele, i dont like it Justin listening to cavetown: i love ukulele we don't het too much of it P.S. it's a joke don't @ me.
So, we have done AJR in an old format where I was too scared of copyright and you can't hear the music, and we recently did a review of the new album (the whole album reaction video got blocked). I can tell you the other two have been on the list for a bit!

You should do "Sharpener," "Sweet Tooth," and "Feb 12." Those are some of my favorites that weren't already done.

similarly to juliet, robin personifies his depression with "lemon boy"
If you do a part 2, you should definitely listen to sweet tooth! One of my faves :)
I made a cover of this is home but I'm too shy to post it lmao bc my voice sounds horrible on camera
if there’s a party three, please review some songs from 16/04/16!! great album.
