The lb6.5 3* Caster Zhang Jue's bond CE gives 20% buff success/10% NP dmg too. No need to summon a niche 5* if you can pair Hans with a fellow FP pool servant in future.

I'd normally not sweat not pulling a servant because unlimited whale works, but my current situation forces me to not be able to use that Noble Phantasm... Without a doubt she has a great design and is a great character. Many FGO content creators seem to be hyping up her gameplay usefulness, but seriously having her on JP for 2 years now I find it a struggle to get her to fit into teams. The 20 star requirement on her NP is a big problem, you really dont want to be running a star bomb CE for event or lotto farming as it takes up a slot, and thus especially dor arts and quick teams you are just better off running the standard double Castoria or Skadi set ups. Koyan is a little more relaxed for using with Crane as she has a star dump skill, so she fits a little better in buster teams, but often you get the job done quicker and easier with double Koyan and Atlas MC. She is a completely safe skip gameplay wise for those saving for the onslaught of better banners coming up, F2P should definitely not feel under any pressure to roll at all.
Maybe using Hans could help with the star requirement but then again I'm a guy who use Li Shuwen (Old) who could create a lot star by just using one quick card
I feel like the worst thing about her is the high star requirement AND the fact that her NP gives NP immediately and not at the end of the turn. The latter would make her far better suited in a farming team.
It's unfortunate where Crane's banner falls, because I want to save as much as possible for LB6. She seems like a cool support. Maybe I'll throw a muti or two. Nevertheless, thanks for these videos.
Remember her next non-GSSR banner is the 25million DL campaign, and she only goes up for a singular day, so there's not a lot of wiggle room on that one. So depending on your plans you might have troubles getting her after this.
The new seamstress in Chaldea is definitely adorable! I’m sure that Habetrot will also be a good addition as well (in reference to that CE with her and Crane) and they are both very much welcome in my Chaldea!
The problem with crane is that she comes before Vitch, and it's mostly used for buster looping as arts looping is serviceable enough already with Castoria and other servants to swap in, including Oberon If you pull for Crane and fail to get Vitch, you won't get as much mileage out of her.

It doesn't really matters, Crane is an appreciated addition to your DPS, not an essential unit to your setup. If you "failed" to get any of the buster ~meme~ meta, then you can still do it the old fashion way (waver, plugsuit and other support like Castoria) Then again, i'd prioritise Oberon over Vitch cuz I don't wanna wait for one and a half year for his banner rerun
She actually becomes very useful once 90++ farming nodes come into play; especially for 1-1-1 nodes as sort of a mini Oberon. She helped my NP2 Saito farm Summer 7's 90++ node like it was nothing
NP2 in 1 multi when I was going for craft essences... I'm very grateful Miss Crane, may my Chaldea be the best atelier for you! She was that one servant I really wanted before Oberon, Koyanska, Morgan and Mélusine so I am glad she graced me with a NP2, now I'm set for LB6!
Now imagine if she has a Geronimo Colour Buffs on each of her Skills instead of having the General Buff tier to just NP and of course if her NP doesn't need 20 Stars

I don't know how, but yesterday, I had a dream/vision in which I pulled Miss Crane, but I just kept that thought in my head until very late in the night. I decided to cave in and got 6 sq from my present box to roll and the first roll was just Billy. I wasn't expecting much at that moment, but after I saw the card was a gold caster, I was both anxious it'd just be the final Nitocris for np5, or some other caster, but also waiting for it to be Miss Crane, and my waiting paid off. If this can become a more common thing, then that'd be cool
I'm saving sq for Koyanchihuahua so I was only doing a single multi for framing CEs in this event. I was deciding between Crane and OG X-Alter. This convinced me to go roll for fashion. We'll see if she wants to answer. EDIT: Crane Mommy answered the call on my first multi. So happy right now, time to get creazy team comps.
She's cute and adds some interesting gameplay options for those with the right CEs/team comps. I'm tempted, but prefer to save for servants that will bring more that helps my main teams (coming later this year).
As an engineer I clearly love math so I really love coming up with comps he’ll when reins got her buff to her np I was coming up with comps to loop in the event I didn’t get castoria so I would love to use her but I’m saving for Morgan, Vitch, Ibuki, Dante’s, and Bazet for the next year so I’m not going for her but I’d be happy if I get her in the Gssr though I’ll mostly be going to another copy of Morgan (I’ve been putting aside money for her since she came out $400 so I will get a pity at least) or Ushiwakamaru avenger.
I found that she's pretty good in Crit Teams if you have at least two Star Bomb CEs equipped, not necessarily Art Crit Teams (which she's best at due to being an Art-focused Servant). Thanks to her 100% NP Battery (Lvl 10), if you don't want to give her a NP Battery CE, Star Bomb CEs work fine if you plan to do explosive crit damage in one turn. She does well alongside some Servants who can be decent with her, not just because Crane's NP provides the leftmost Servant (excluding herself if she's on the leftmost side) with a +50% NP charge at 500% Overcharge: - Calamity Jane: Her main skill hinges on your Crit Star generation. 20+ Star Bomb CE on Jane or Crane (no rhyme or pun intended) means you can fire off Jane's Polar Star Skill on your main DPS first, then use Crane's NP Battery, fire off her NP to buff your main DPS at the start of your attack chain, then when your next support buffer comes in with the second Star Bomb CE, your main DPS can then wreck your main target for a single turn due to being super buffed. - Charles Babbage: A good-to-go 3* F2P AoE Buster Caster (if you get him) that is actually strong if you do every Strengthening Quest for him. Fully upgraded, his first skill is a +30% NP Gain (3T)/+1000 Star Absorb skill (1T) on a 6T cd, second skill when upgrades is the standard 1 Turn Invincibility and a +40% Attack Buff (3T) on a 5T cd, his final skill when fully upgraded is just loaded for a 3*. It has a 5T cd but it provides a +25% NP buff (3T), +100% Crit DMG (1T, goes well with his first skill, lol), and generates 30 stars. This is pretty basic, Star Bomb CE on Miss Crane, use her NP Battery, use her NP and two other attacks, second turn use Babbage's skills and have him go ham for a turn. Combind with his NP also dropping the enemies Defense between 10% - 20% (meh overall compared to other Servants who can do the same) means his Brave Chains hurt. - Ushi (Rider): I'm not forgetting best girl (thanks to Babylonia's film making it more obvious), she has a good Star Bomb Skill when it's upgraded/strengthened and she would love that free NP buff from Crane before she uses her own NP for a Brave Chain to wreck enemy Casters and Zerkers. She's a solid F2P 3* Rider with a strong ST Quick NP. I'm sure there are other F2P Servants that can work well with Miss Crane if you can find a team composition that enables it, but Babbage and Ushi come to my mind first. For memes, if you think you want to do it for fun, you can try NP battery teams. Have BB (normal), Parvati and Crane all assembled on your opening line-up: Left to Right should be Parvati/BB then BB/Parvati then lastly, Crane. The leftmost Servant will be the one getting a big NP Battery that I'll mention shortly. The NP Chain should end with Crane (despite her being best used first for the offensive damage buffs) as it effectively gives your leftmost NP Battery Servant a whopping +100% NP Battery at the end of the chain on top of the other buffs if Parvati and Miss Crane were at 300% NP Charge at the start of the NP Chain. +20% NP Charge from BB, +30% NP Charge from Parvati and +50% NP Charge from Miss Crane. The shenanigans involved here is more than I can describe but it means that things are amusing for at least two turns if you waited to get all of their NPs to 100%+ NP charge. For this, use a CE like Demonic Bodhisattva on Crane (for this you don't need to fully upgrade her NP Battery).
This is good team com. Miss crane left any good attacker middle and Emiya right. With good support at the 4 slot. This enables to use crane np gain to middle at servant and make them able to do MBG if crane have 2 plus overcharged and the middle attacker have at least 10% np starter. I choose Emiya because first he have skin that can give crit star and second already try this com when the enemy is berserk and it's work. Also middle attacker recommended to have acquired skin like Jalter.
Miss Crane is a support with nuance and strategy behind her, she's quite fun to plan around and is a good future investment given inevitably you SHOULD roll for at least one of the three top tier card supporters in this game, let's not forget that even if Oberon has a much stronger, more solid niche than her he's still ultimately a good switch-in/niche servant, it's simply that he affects things more tangibly than she can and has less conditions attached. The ideal way to use her is to be able to fire off two NPs but this is only strictly if you don't have that many supports to buff your carry with or if her buffs/effects are preferred over theirs, otherwise just laying out the whole pack on her carry and biding farewell is good enough. Another very important technique you can do with her albeit similarly as niche: Her 3 turn taunt on allies can serve as its own "poster girl" sort of deal, buffs are kept when someone is switched to reserves without them wearing off so it's possible to have two supports bite the dust one after the other and make for even more supports to replace them whether she already switched herself back or not. By the way, what she gets isn't a "stars per turn" effect, it's literally a starbomb to use her NP right away if the other two frontliners own a costume, this changes your review and CE options slightly but ultimately kscope+append (or maxscope) tends to work best.
had i not know who's came after her banner, I probably go ham on her simply waifu material alone. If i plan to use her, I have to adjust my game play a bit. since I always have DPS at 1st slot and support at 2, 3 slot.

i did 10 tickets and 60 multi and got all 3 Event CE with 2 four star Nitocris and 1 Assassin EMIYA (Shiro's Father) 4 star but no Miss Crane. i will be saving the rest for Morgan, Oberon and Vitch
I wasn't expecting her, but she came in my "respect" pulls, so I'm happy about that. Although I still not sure where to use her since I'm not planning on getting Vitch (Saving for S. Kama). Still, I'm happy because I really like her design and personality.
I can see why she would be such a big deal for certain players. There's a lot there that can make teams even better and more interesting. But I'm absolutely passing. Not tapping into my LB6 savings for a luxury pick like that. Especially since I'm not that big on challenge quests or spending hours figuring out how to maximize a team for certain fights. Gotta protect those funds for FK Lancelot, Vitch, Oberon, etc.
When testing team composition with Miss crane, I realized that Illya Caster despite listed as one of costume owning servant, did not get 10 stars from her first skill. I don't know this is NA exclusive things or not, but definitely something to keep in mind.
Man, ignoring the talk, I was surprised by 3M Kukulkan cause I have her but I dont have anyone to buff buster except Shakespeare, knowing her what she could do makes me want to use her more
Honestly similar to arash and chen gong, I find her use more gimmicky if not outright janky and something I feel you overlooked is I don't think her NP activates with an actual rear support to trade with. She has that same limitation as cheng gong where her NP is reliant on you have servants to trade spots with. While I know those 90++ nodes are their own bread and butter but much like my stance on Oberon I don't feel like she changes things much but unlike Oberon who's support is reliant on being a 1 hit kill buffer since otherwise you're while set up is either f'd or you're just gonna be struggling and hoping the enemy KO's the sleeping taunted servant within 3 turns. Her gimmick is certainly unique but I wouldn't call her ideal or very useful as she's reliant on you having not only the right amount of stars but making sure you still have a backline of servants. Obviously don't use her with chen gong with an NP set up since I'm not sure why you would waste a turn doing that. She has benefits for sure but ultimately her cons outweigh the positives especially since you can't really make use of her NP charge effect unless what you kill survives your DPS NP. From a lore perspective her tool kit makes sense but in terms of gameplay it's a bit janky to say this works or is game changing without really thinking about your set up. Not to mention there's only 1 crane woman for many people and she's living life as a successful maid with 2 swords on hand lol But yeah while I like miss cranes design I wasnt exactly sold or hyped on her once we took a look at her gameplay as in the end her benefits can't be fully utilized. This could be fixed if fgo allows support casters to uses their support NPs even after a wave is cleared so that those benefits can be used in the next wave but sadly I doubt we'll get that kind of update any time soon.
Crane's gimmick will make boss rush CQ so much fun. Also unlike most SSR you just need NP1 even for a whale. Cause this year we have Morgan, Melu and summer Karma the pool is stacked. Bad year to be a whale. Thanks for the b2b spotlights hope Oni you're doing better.

I am torn on her myself since I fit the requirement of having her swap in other supports as you mentioned and would appreciate her help in the 90 plus plus nodes... I just worry about ruining my supply to secure Vitch down the line. As I think pity is 900 right? Currently only have about 800 between tickets and sq so I don't even have wiggle room for that yet :(
I rolled on the banner for event CEs and ended up getting Miss Crane AND Nightingale in the same roll, so...that's interesting. I don't honestly know if I'll end up using either of 'em.
Crane is a great servant with some interesting abilities. However, for my roster... I don't need her that badly. Crane honestly is a funny gimmick servant that you show off to your friends about how much damage you can do with some wacky setups. Personally I don't need her but it is fun to see videos of her flying off while making op servants even more op.
She has the horrible luck of being before Morgan, theres no reason to pull for her unless she's waifu or you're a whale when you get an arguably more versatile support that doubles as a hyper strong buster aoe servant in Morgan sorry crane you'll have to wait for gssr on 6th anni 😅
Hello there. Im not entirely new been playing for a year or maybe 2 so I don’t understand everything. Could you explain something to me? Are the rates for new releases lower than that of characters who’ve already had multiple releases? I feel like when i started I got Bride Nero super early as well as summer Musashi and well pretty much everyone. I’ve pretty much always pulled with less than 150 SQ and come away with who I was looking for. The absolute only exceptions were Castoria, Taira and Skadi. It took a shit ton for Castoria and I actually had to spend money and for Taira I luckily had 400 SQ saved but she took all of that and a few tickets. I’ve been saving everything since Taira and have 300 SQ and a little over 100 tickets. My question is what is a good bar to go into summoning for? How many SQ should i relatively have if I want to realistically get servants? Also are some servants just more tedious to summon for? Taira and Castoria are really good and we’re by far and I mean not remotely close the most SQ. I spent like 350 I saved on a skadi banner and still don’t have her also 😅 so are better servants just harder to obtain? Last is it the norm in this community to spend Tickets first when rolling or SQ? I’d appreciate any response or help! 😊
@@jamesonedwardsii4943 1. As long the servant is on pick up the rates are the same as any banner . Its just up to luck (it's a gacha after all ). Servants are mostly split between limited and permanent servants for gacha. Permanent servants can appear on any banner while limited servants only show up on the banner that features them, the featured servants (whether both limited or permanent )will have a higher rateup as compared to the rest of the permanents in the pool. 2. On average 300quartz feels like the bar for a np 1 copy of the rate up servant. However this is again subject to luck so u can spend anywhere from 3 to 900 quartz for a servant. 3. As mentioned before as long as the servant is the one on rate up the odds of getting it are the same as any another on rate up. However the tedious part might come in waiting time between rerun banners for servants that you missed, for example oberon's rerun is 18 months apart while koyan light is 6 months. You can view servant rates on the banner itself under info. 4. There really isnt any practice to using tickets and quartz, just make sure to try and do 10pulls to get the 11th extra summon if u are doing single pulls with tickets since those count to pity. On a side note tickets and quartz both count to pity so use them however u like
Honestly it's safer going for Crane now than waiting. Morgan had like 5 rate ups within the past 2 years, so she's much more available than people realize. Still going for Morgan tho, but definitely going for Crane

However since the die/coin has so many potential sides its quite a clusterfuck. I recommend saving up 900quartz and sitting on it for your favorite servant, and then use upwards of 300quartz on servants you want but are willing to miss. If you're f2p just save for supports and favorite servants. If you're willing to spend I recommend grabbing the 80$ pack once a month or every few months to suppliment your quartz which will help hut certain thresholds for pity if you have the disposal income. I still can’t decide between her and MHXX, I have castoria and tama for arts so it’s not like I absolutely need her but it would make my teams better . But MHXX would be a nice berserker / waifu. But I also have vlad and np5 herc ;.;
it's so funny that i made a yolo single pull for her and there was no loading so I skipped it and bang there she was for just 3 sq. been so long since I last got a 5 star
she an odd synergy with Oberon turn 3 nuking teams... you use her at turn 1 but you have to sacrifice the 2nd color buff until turn 2 which may work with Buster Loopers but I'm not so sure for Arts and Quick teams
Honestly I didn't want to roll for her but... Oh, well... I will use some tickets and 1 multi (if I don't get her, I will regret cuz I should have saved for melusine ☹️)
I would consider myself reaching end game farming soon, if not already, and she definitely has something unique. Being able to provide some buffs and to bring in another support or attacker. But honestly it’s a really hard sell for me. Her buffs, at least to me, aren’t worth the price of admission as well as the cost to use her NP. Turn 1 is fine, but using her NP a second time would be difficult since you would need 20 stars on the second turn. I can see her being more effective in boss fights where you need to buff one attacker as much as possible as well as providing an invincibility. But I would see her as a liability in the party if anything goes awry. So she’s a pass for me. Maybe one day if I have some spare SQ 🤷♂️ EDIT: I gave into temptation. Spent 600 SQ exactly to get her. Hope it was worth it 😂 EDIT 2: holy shit it is worth it. I’ve never been able to stack so many buffs onto one servant before. If you are struggling with damage this is the solution. And it is possible to reach even more ridiculous damage with Castoria’s NP
No she is made for Oberon's 3rd skill. With Oberon and Vitch its easy to pull off 20 stars. Hell her 1st skill helps Arts and Quick so really its turn 1 that would give you the most problems.
Is it worth fishing around trying to make sure she gets a higher level noble phantasm, or nah? I've got a lot of supports in hand - Waver, Skadi, and Tama. And some good characters to pair her with! Alterjuna, Parvati, Jack, Quetz, and Sei. But I'm not suuuper sure what the read is on the additional levels of her noble phantasm and if I wanna hit that unlimited whaleworks buff to try and make sure she's really got something to add to my roster.
Top tier esports memer. But in any other way? Pretty meh. I'd go B tier since she won't be used very much. But she excels in difficult content, that cannot be disputed.
Damn, she sounds like a good support, but Morgan is just around the corner, and Koyan is only about a month after her, AND Summer Kama a month after THAT. I will have to skip Crane to maintain my wallet's sanity while running the Gacha Gauntlet this summer.
I've decided to roll for her, if only to give my OP Galatea her dream CE on this event and pick up Egyptian waifu. But I look at her and think she's almost like the thinking man's Oberon anyway. I mean, if you NP with her twice, doesn't that give you an equivalent to his 100% NP damage skill, just for two loops instead of one and without bricking the DPS unit? Can someone explain whether this analysis is wrong? Even if it is, though, she's still far superior for stall teams because of that effect. I'm almost thinking I'll go all the way to pity for her and not bother with Oberon.
On another note. I had 60 sq I was going to spend to get the last Artoria alter I was missing but with those 60 instead of getting the 4 star it get the 5 star archer Moriarty. 4 star luck right

She actually becomes very useful once 90++ farming nodes come into play; especially for 1-1-1 nodes as sort of a mini Oberon. She helped my NP2 Saito farm Summer 7's 90++ node like it was nothing

She was that one servant I really wanted before Oberon, Koyanska, Morgan and Mélusine so I am glad she graced me with a NP2, now I'm set for LB6!

I don't know how, but yesterday, I had a dream/vision in which I pulled Miss Crane, but I just kept that thought in my head until very late in the night. I decided to cave in and got 6 sq from my present box to roll and the first roll was just Billy. I wasn't expecting much at that moment, but after I saw the card was a gold caster, I was both anxious it'd just be the final Nitocris for np5, or some other caster, but also waiting for it to be Miss Crane, and my waiting paid off. If this can become a more common thing, then that'd be cool

As an engineer I clearly love math so I really love coming up with comps he’ll when reins got her buff to her np I was coming up with comps to loop in the event I didn’t get castoria so I would love to use her but I’m saving for Morgan, Vitch, Ibuki, Dante’s, and Bazet for the next year so I’m not going for her but I’d be happy if I get her in the Gssr though I’ll mostly be going to another copy of Morgan (I’ve been putting aside money for her since she came out $400 so I will get a pity at least) or Ushiwakamaru avenger.

As someone who has a pretty stacked roster even as a GSSR only player, it looks like Miss Crane will make a fine addition to my collection!
3 pulls & I spooked her going for CEs.
I found that she's pretty good in Crit Teams if you have at least two Star Bomb CEs equipped, not necessarily Art Crit Teams (which she's best at due to being an Art-focused Servant). Thanks to her 100% NP Battery (Lvl 10), if you don't want to give her a NP Battery CE, Star Bomb CEs work fine if you plan to do explosive crit damage in one turn. She does well alongside some Servants who can be decent with her, not just because Crane's NP provides the leftmost Servant (excluding herself if she's on the leftmost side) with a +50% NP charge at 500% Overcharge:
- Calamity Jane: Her main skill hinges on your Crit Star generation. 20+ Star Bomb CE on Jane or Crane (no rhyme or pun intended) means you can fire off Jane's Polar Star Skill on your main DPS first, then use Crane's NP Battery, fire off her NP to buff your main DPS at the start of your attack chain, then when your next support buffer comes in with the second Star Bomb CE, your main DPS can then wreck your main target for a single turn due to being super buffed.
- Charles Babbage: A good-to-go 3* F2P AoE Buster Caster (if you get him) that is actually strong if you do every Strengthening Quest for him. Fully upgraded, his first skill is a +30% NP Gain (3T)/+1000 Star Absorb skill (1T) on a 6T cd, second skill when upgrades is the standard 1 Turn Invincibility and a +40% Attack Buff (3T) on a 5T cd, his final skill when fully upgraded is just loaded for a 3*. It has a 5T cd but it provides a +25% NP buff (3T), +100% Crit DMG (1T, goes well with his first skill, lol), and generates 30 stars. This is pretty basic, Star Bomb CE on Miss Crane, use her NP Battery, use her NP and two other attacks, second turn use Babbage's skills and have him go ham for a turn. Combind with his NP also dropping the enemies Defense between 10% - 20% (meh overall compared to other Servants who can do the same) means his Brave Chains hurt.
- Ushi (Rider): I'm not forgetting best girl (thanks to Babylonia's film making it more obvious), she has a good Star Bomb Skill when it's upgraded/strengthened and she would love that free NP buff from Crane before she uses her own NP for a Brave Chain to wreck enemy Casters and Zerkers. She's a solid F2P 3* Rider with a strong ST Quick NP.
I'm sure there are other F2P Servants that can work well with Miss Crane if you can find a team composition that enables it, but Babbage and Ushi come to my mind first.
For memes, if you think you want to do it for fun, you can try NP battery teams. Have BB (normal), Parvati and Crane all assembled on your opening line-up: Left to Right should be Parvati/BB then BB/Parvati then lastly, Crane. The leftmost Servant will be the one getting a big NP Battery that I'll mention shortly. The NP Chain should end with Crane (despite her being best used first for the offensive damage buffs) as it effectively gives your leftmost NP Battery Servant a whopping +100% NP Battery at the end of the chain on top of the other buffs if Parvati and Miss Crane were at 300% NP Charge at the start of the NP Chain. +20% NP Charge from BB, +30% NP Charge from Parvati and +50% NP Charge from Miss Crane. The shenanigans involved here is more than I can describe but it means that things are amusing for at least two turns if you waited to get all of their NPs to 100%+ NP charge. For this, use a CE like Demonic Bodhisattva on Crane (for this you don't need to fully upgrade her NP Battery).

This is good team com. Miss crane left any good attacker middle and Emiya right. With good support at the 4 slot. This enables to use crane np gain to middle at servant and make them able to do MBG if crane have 2 plus overcharged and the middle attacker have at least 10% np starter. I choose Emiya because first he have skin that can give crit star and second already try this com when the enemy is berserk and it's work. Also middle attacker recommended to have acquired skin like Jalter.

Miss Crane is a support with nuance and strategy behind her, she's quite fun to plan around and is a good future investment given inevitably you SHOULD roll for at least one of the three top tier card supporters in this game, let's not forget that even if Oberon has a much stronger, more solid niche than her he's still ultimately a good switch-in/niche servant, it's simply that he affects things more tangibly than she can and has less conditions attached.
The ideal way to use her is to be able to fire off two NPs but this is only strictly if you don't have that many supports to buff your carry with or if her buffs/effects are preferred over theirs, otherwise just laying out the whole pack on her carry and biding farewell is good enough.
Another very important technique you can do with her albeit similarly as niche: Her 3 turn taunt on allies can serve as its own "poster girl" sort of deal, buffs are kept when someone is switched to reserves without them wearing off so it's possible to have two supports bite the dust one after the other and make for even more supports to replace them whether she already switched herself back or not.
By the way, what she gets isn't a "stars per turn" effect, it's literally a starbomb to use her NP right away if the other two frontliners own a costume, this changes your review and CE options slightly but ultimately kscope+append (or maxscope) tends to work best.

i did 10 tickets and 60 multi and got all 3 Event CE with 2 four star Nitocris and 1 Assassin EMIYA (Shiro's Father) 4 star but no Miss Crane. i will be saving the rest for Morgan, Oberon and Vitch

I can see why she would be such a big deal for certain players. There's a lot there that can make teams even better and more interesting. But I'm absolutely passing. Not tapping into my LB6 savings for a luxury pick like that. Especially since I'm not that big on challenge quests or spending hours figuring out how to maximize a team for certain fights.
Gotta protect those funds for FK Lancelot, Vitch, Oberon, etc.

When testing team composition with Miss crane, I realized that Illya Caster despite listed as one of costume owning servant, did not get 10 stars from her first skill. I don't know this is NA exclusive things or not, but definitely something to keep in mind.
Man, ignoring the talk, I was surprised by 3M Kukulkan cause I have her but I dont have anyone to buff buster except Shakespeare, knowing her what she could do makes me want to use her more
Honestly similar to arash and chen gong, I find her use more gimmicky if not outright janky and something I feel you overlooked is I don't think her NP activates with an actual rear support to trade with. She has that same limitation as cheng gong where her NP is reliant on you have servants to trade spots with.
While I know those 90++ nodes are their own bread and butter but much like my stance on Oberon I don't feel like she changes things much but unlike Oberon who's support is reliant on being a 1 hit kill buffer since otherwise you're while set up is either f'd or you're just gonna be struggling and hoping the enemy KO's the sleeping taunted servant within 3 turns.
Her gimmick is certainly unique but I wouldn't call her ideal or very useful as she's reliant on you having not only the right amount of stars but making sure you still have a backline of servants. Obviously don't use her with chen gong with an NP set up since I'm not sure why you would waste a turn doing that. She has benefits for sure but ultimately her cons outweigh the positives especially since you can't really make use of her NP charge effect unless what you kill survives your DPS NP.
From a lore perspective her tool kit makes sense but in terms of gameplay it's a bit janky to say this works or is game changing without really thinking about your set up.
Not to mention there's only 1 crane woman for many people and she's living life as a successful maid with 2 swords on hand lol
But yeah while I like miss cranes design I wasnt exactly sold or hyped on her once we took a look at her gameplay as in the end her benefits can't be fully utilized. This could be fixed if fgo allows support casters to uses their support NPs even after a wave is cleared so that those benefits can be used in the next wave but sadly I doubt we'll get that kind of update any time soon.

Crane's gimmick will make boss rush CQ so much fun. Also unlike most SSR you just need NP1 even for a whale. Cause this year we have Morgan, Melu and summer Karma the pool is stacked. Bad year to be a whale.

Crane is a great servant with some interesting abilities. However, for my roster... I don't need her that badly. Crane honestly is a funny gimmick servant that you show off to your friends about how much damage you can do with some wacky setups. Personally I don't need her but it is fun to see videos of her flying off while making op servants even more op.

Hello there. Im not entirely new been playing for a year or maybe 2 so I don’t understand everything. Could you explain something to me? Are the rates for new releases lower than that of characters who’ve already had multiple releases? I feel like when i started I got Bride Nero super early as well as summer Musashi and well pretty much everyone. I’ve pretty much always pulled with less than 150 SQ and come away with who I was looking for. The absolute only exceptions were Castoria, Taira and Skadi. It took a shit ton for Castoria and I actually had to spend money and for Taira I luckily had 400 SQ saved but she took all of that and a few tickets. I’ve been saving everything since Taira and have 300 SQ and a little over 100 tickets.
My question is what is a good bar to go into summoning for? How many SQ should i relatively have if I want to realistically get servants?
Also are some servants just more tedious to summon for? Taira and Castoria are really good and we’re by far and I mean not remotely close the most SQ. I spent like 350 I saved on a skadi banner and still don’t have her also 😅 so are better servants just harder to obtain?
Last is it the norm in this community to spend Tickets first when rolling or SQ? I’d appreciate any response or help! 😊
@@jamesonedwardsii4943 1. As long the servant is on pick up the rates are the same as any banner . Its just up to luck (it's a gacha after all ). Servants are mostly split between limited and permanent servants for gacha. Permanent servants can appear on any banner while limited servants only show up on the banner that features them, the featured servants (whether both limited or permanent )will have a higher rateup as compared to the rest of the permanents in the pool.
2. On average 300quartz feels like the bar for a np 1 copy of the rate up servant. However this is again subject to luck so u can spend anywhere from 3 to 900 quartz for a servant.
3. As mentioned before as long as the servant is the one on rate up the odds of getting it are the same as any another on rate up. However the tedious part might come in waiting time between rerun banners for servants that you missed, for example oberon's rerun is 18 months apart while koyan light is 6 months. You can view servant rates on the banner itself under info.
4. There really isnt any practice to using tickets and quartz, just make sure to try and do 10pulls to get the 11th extra summon if u are doing single pulls with tickets since those count to pity.
On a side note tickets and quartz both count to pity so use them however u like
Honestly it's safer going for Crane now than waiting. Morgan had like 5 rate ups within the past 2 years, so she's much more available than people realize. Still going for Morgan tho, but definitely going for Crane

To answer you question in a simplistic way since another master went into great detail for you already:
You have a 4/5 chance for rate up, so think of it as a coin flip, or a die roll.
However since the die/coin has so many potential sides its quite a clusterfuck. I recommend saving up 900quartz and sitting on it for your favorite servant, and then use upwards of 300quartz on servants you want but are willing to miss.
If you're f2p just save for supports and favorite servants.
If you're willing to spend I recommend grabbing the 80$ pack once a month or every few months to suppliment your quartz which will help hut certain thresholds for pity if you have the disposal income.

she an odd synergy with Oberon turn 3 nuking teams... you use her at turn 1 but you have to sacrifice the 2nd color buff until turn 2 which may work with Buster Loopers but I'm not so sure for Arts and Quick teams

I would consider myself reaching end game farming soon, if not already, and she definitely has something unique. Being able to provide some buffs and to bring in another support or attacker. But honestly it’s a really hard sell for me. Her buffs, at least to me, aren’t worth the price of admission as well as the cost to use her NP. Turn 1 is fine, but using her NP a second time would be difficult since you would need 20 stars on the second turn. I can see her being more effective in boss fights where you need to buff one attacker as much as possible as well as providing an invincibility. But I would see her as a liability in the party if anything goes awry. So she’s a pass for me. Maybe one day if I have some spare SQ 🤷♂️
EDIT: I gave into temptation. Spent 600 SQ exactly to get her. Hope it was worth it 😂
EDIT 2: holy shit it is worth it. I’ve never been able to stack so many buffs onto one servant before. If you are struggling with damage this is the solution. And it is possible to reach even more ridiculous damage with Castoria’s NP
No she is made for Oberon's 3rd skill. With Oberon and Vitch its easy to pull off 20 stars. Hell her 1st skill helps Arts and Quick so really its turn 1 that would give you the most problems.

Is it worth fishing around trying to make sure she gets a higher level noble phantasm, or nah? I've got a lot of supports in hand - Waver, Skadi, and Tama. And some good characters to pair her with! Alterjuna, Parvati, Jack, Quetz, and Sei. But I'm not suuuper sure what the read is on the additional levels of her noble phantasm and if I wanna hit that unlimited whaleworks buff to try and make sure she's really got something to add to my roster.

Damn, she sounds like a good support, but Morgan is just around the corner, and Koyan is only about a month after her, AND Summer Kama a month after THAT. I will have to skip Crane to maintain my wallet's sanity while running the Gacha Gauntlet this summer.

I've decided to roll for her, if only to give my OP Galatea her dream CE on this event and pick up Egyptian waifu. But I look at her and think she's almost like the thinking man's Oberon anyway. I mean, if you NP with her twice, doesn't that give you an equivalent to his 100% NP damage skill, just for two loops instead of one and without bricking the DPS unit? Can someone explain whether this analysis is wrong? Even if it is, though, she's still far superior for stall teams because of that effect. I'm almost thinking I'll go all the way to pity for her and not bother with Oberon.

On another note. I had 60 sq I was going to spend to get the last Artoria alter I was missing but with those 60 instead of getting the 4 star it get the 5 star archer Moriarty. 4 star luck right
