Through tear filled eyes, I saw your report. I have many a loved one Resting in Peace within this graveyard. I am writing to explain the reason for the high level of security you experienced. The graveyard was attacked some months ago by miscreants and those who are ignorant and do not respect the existence of another faith. Therefore it is only a good thing that not everyone knows of this place's geographical presence. This way the passed Pasi residents of Lahore can lay without fear...... Oh and once Upon a time, i.e. when the graveyard came into being it was located in a quiet, far far away piece of land. Thank you for your video and kind comments.
Exactly, i was wondering the same reason for all the security, our country has been ruined by bigots who call themselves Muslims yet fail to understand the base of it.

What a great personality she was..she was a social worker and she was nurse by profession. she served poor people all of her life .she also stablished schools for poor children's in lahore.never married and helping people's for the sake of god

Hi. I noticed this video and another video about Parsi in Lahore and perhaps some others have no subtitles. Because not all of us can understand Urdu. I am from Malaysia. My late grandfather's (my dad's side) was from Lahore . I got to know we still have some relatives staying in Lahore. Would appreciate if you could look into the subtitles.

Excellent information and narration...
The language, inscribed on some of the graves, may not be Hindi. It could, most probably, be Gujrati. This language is also written in 'Devnagari' script, like, the Hindi. Gujrat , is the present day name of the State, where Parsis settled initially after coming from 'Faras' - Persia.
The Parsis speak anglicized Gujrati language, as you would notice from the Parsi characters in the Bollywood movies.

As ususal another master piece from you.What else one can say.
Entire Iran was following Zoroastrianism.
The nearest comparable firqah is Agnihotris of India as they consider fire as knowledge and a cleansing medium.
Zend Avesta the language of the Zoroastrian books is very much akin to Vedic Sanskrit.
It is another matter Arabs conquered Persia and within 37 years the whole of Persia got converted to Islam and why and how they got converted is a subject many may not like.
Those who did not succumbed to the pressure of conversion left their shores in Persia and came to India first in Sanjan in Gujarat coast and rest is history.
Some very few ran away to remote Yazd mountain and they are the minuscule minority of original Zoroastrians still existing in Iran.
They are dwindling.Their academic, cultural and industrial and social contributions to this South Asian region is immense.
