Great Video! I just pulled my PE535 out after having it for almost 2 years. I am trying remind myself to master what I have before giving into the urge of wanting something bigger. I’m sure you’re extremely busy but I’d love to see more videos using that machine as well as using the software and learning how to split the designs.
Loved the video and yes definitely interested in the digitizing so will watch for that video too. I’m looking forward to trying out embroidery on my machine. I’ve just unboxed it and getting it set up. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
Awesome video Shun. I am interested in a more detailed tutorial of how you create, digitize and split the design. Where did you purchase the strap around your stabilizer? Thank you Shun
Hey Vonda. I only used my 5x12 hoop and stabilizer, I didn’t use anything additional like a strap. If you’re referring to the hoop I got it from amazon :)
@@AllThingsShun thanks for responding Shun. I was referring to strap or could be something else that is around your stabilizer when you are showing your materials. I forgot to ask how did you determine how far down for your design and how is it determined once you have your shirt hooped? I tried hooping mine unsuccessfully at 100 times (exaggerated) but it felt that way and still do not have it hooped!
Did you search a bigger image and your software automatically knew to split the image based on the size hoop? Just trying to be clear on this part of things. Thank you.
@@kat8tweety No, you would have to digitize the split design. I size the design first, digitize & split the design. It will be 2 separate files… one for the first half and one for the second half.
Hi! Best videos I’ve came across yet! Thank you so much! Can you use the hoop sets on the brother 535 you listed? Which machine do you recommend starting out making the mama shirts with the 5x12 hoop?
Thank you for watching! I believe you can get the 4x6 repositioning hoop, but I’d suggest the Brother PE800 or PE900 if you want to have the 5x12 hoop.
This is all Greek to me because I don’t know how to embroider yet, but I find it to be very interesting and hopefully soon will be able to do this! Great tutorial!
You can have any machine to digitize. You’ll select your hoop size and machine brand. I’ll be doing some digitizing videos. I do have a few on my channel that are beginner friendly
I wish I had known about this. I just ordered the nq1700e to be delivered Monday. I went with it because of the hoop size😁😁 interested in learning digitizing
Hello Shun, I'm, new on the embroidery game .Yes I would love to learn how to digitize and do my own designs. I would to learn from you. Please send me videos from your software on digitizing.
Thank you! Unfortunately I don’t digitize as I’m extremely new to embroidery and this machine. Is the design for sale? I’ve bought all your tagged items you listed in this video to help me get started, so I’d love to use your design as well! Much appreciated 💜
Hey there! I use Hatch software for digitizing. When you select your design on the machine click size and you’ll be able to increase or decrease as needed
Hi! I split my design in embrilliance and didn’t touch anything once I saved it as a split file! My design was off by like 2 millimeters and I have no idea what I did wrong. (I was embroidering USA, and the S had to be split) Any tips or recommendations? Thanks!
You will need to adjust each side. It should have come with the measurements. Try hooping some cutaway stabilizer to test the design so you can get it lined up.
Hi. What if I use aplique technic, but thgere are 5 letters in a word? The program splits it in half, but it is wrong with aplique technic. What should I do? Thank you 💛
I haven’t had any issues with shirts I’ve made for myself using tear away, but I always use cutaway for orders that come in. Yeah that saying has been in the embroidery world for many years!
Great video. I'm looking forward to learning to embroider. A video tutorial on digitizing would be great! 😊

Love how this came out. Do you have to have a certain software to use this size hoop?

Cutaway backing

Hi what's your tension accuracy on this design.TIA
I don’t know off hand. I made this design last year I believe
Digitizing video would be awesome :)
Yes it would so we know how you get it right on your machine
I would like to know how to split image. I just purchased the PE900. Thanks in advance

You may have to make sure the design is aligned in your software, that might be causing it to be off.
@@AllThingsShun thank you!
Good Morning
I found you in my newsfeed.
I did subscribe.
I have embrillance software. I'm very interested in your stitch designs.
Hello. Can you show us , how to rehoop and align lager designs using 4x4 hoop.Thank you!
To make larger designs you would need the 5x12 repositiinal hoop.
I only have the 4x4 and 6x4 hoops. But i want to make larger than that.I tried to rehoop each segments, but i have trouble aligning the designs. Thanks!
Hi, do you know if this will work for a Brother PE900 as well?
Yes, I’m using the PE900 in this video. It’s compatible with the PE800 and PE900.

If your design splits in the middle of the applique it will line up when you stitch it out.
