    Whether you're a Toronto fan, a Pens fan, any fan really. I think we can all agree Price deserves a cup before he retires. If you love hockey from head to toe and not just one team you have to feel sorry for him. Goalies are on a different level and he is the pinnacle when playing his best. Just bring Price a cup, please, for the sake of legacy and him not fading into obscurity.

      Gibson is the pinnacle when playing his best and has less support than Price. Vasilevsky, Bishop, Bobrovsky, Pekka Rinne and Devan Dubnyk all have better numbers and higher level performances consistently than Price with no cups to their name yet sonehow poor Carey is the only goalie dealt a bad hand. Only Montreal fans think he's a martyr you dope

    Max Domi what a great kid and a well spoken young man and what an amazing story of living with the everyday challenge of life with Type 1 Diabetes. He's true inspiration to anyone who's living with a dangerous life threating medical condition to be brave and never back down or quit. It goes to show his parents raised him to be a good man and a respectful person. Tie Domi was a fan favorite when he played for my NYR's and Max Domi is a true reflection of what it's like to have been raised by great parent's and a great father.
    A very touching story to say the most.

    I've had type 1 diabetes for 21 years and although its manageable it's a nonstop battle. You have to worry about it at every hour of every day if you want to stay healthy. You can go downhill real fast if you don't look after yourself. It's also a huge burden and especially if you don't come from a well off family like Max. I try to be as optimistic as possible but that's just how it is.

      Hugo Labrie , a measuring stick when talking about goaltender success is how many 40+ win seasons they have. You pointed out the only season he was able to top 40 wins (44). Keep in mind he has played his entire career in the shootout era, where winning a shootout gives a goaltender a victory. In my opinion, anything past OT should not count for personal stats. Example is that the players that score in a shootout are not credited with those goals in the scoring race and the losing goaltender is not credited with a loss.
      Either way, he had a great year. That’s one year.
      He’s only made it past the second round of the playoffs once I believe.
      I’m still not convinced when the topic of greatest goalie on the planet comes up, he should be the name the media feel obligated to say.
      Give Carey the exact same career to this point but on a different team (sharks, blues, panthers,.....) would he still be the NHL/ media’s golden boy?

      MTL Snipez Gaming, it was one season and I’d argue that other goalies have had similar if not better years and not been a heart nominee let alone win it. And it’s a team game if his teams have been mediocre for most of his career and he’s the elite star the media say he is, his teams should have been more successful. Star players make mediocre teams a threat. Lastly, him being the wins leader for Montreal is nice but he played his whole career there. It didn’t take skill to not get traded or sign with other teams.
      Roy would have had that record, Belfour would have had the Chicago record and probably does have the Dallas record. Lots of goalies would have team records if they didn’t play for other teams.
      Remember, I’m just asking is he really hall of fame worthy?

    • @bigsteed007
      @bigsteed007 5 років тому

      Morningwood, he probably has played the most games for them and probably is at the top of the list for losses also.
      Point is that he’s only played for one team. It didn’t take skill to not get traded or sign with another team as a free agent.

      he made a joke during Bissonnette's podcast were players often goes off and joke about everything.. said Montreal sucked compare to Toronto in reference to his father playing in Toronto and to tipped off habs fan. I'm an habs fan and I found it funny and it was a really good podcast.
      You gotta be able to understand the context a little bit more, if you take people's words literally every time when they speak... Even when they joke, jeez you gonna be an offended snowflake 24/7!
      That's why lots of hockey players don't give elaborate answers during interviews.. There are always people like you deforming their words or always taking their words literally even if they joke, to come to their own conclusions and start drama. Please, use common sense.
