I like Celine and I am glad that she is keeping our Prince alive and paying tribute. I realize she needs to make the song her own. The purple background was cool. I have not heard anyone sing a Prince song that was anywhere near Prince in quality or emotion. No equal to his guitar solo. Miss his presence on earth.
He would not have allowed a direct copy of his work for no artist. Also, Prince would have known well in advance of Céline's intentions. He also was in attendance in Vegas to see her show and wrote With this Tear for Céline.
