    Great video! I was wondering: can I just use my foam cannon that I already use to wash my car with this product?

    Here in Australia, I use a brilliant product called Bowden's Own 'BUGGER OFF'. Spray it on, wet cloth, wipe off. Done. Clean and simple. Brilliant. There is no process with this stuff. Been using it for years.

      Its actually superior than P&S having tried both of em. Im not saying P&S sucks coz it does works well too but my vote goes to bugger off.

    Using the IK Foam Sprayer, I think you can connect the R1's compressor to the integrated Schrader Valve to pressurize the unit! How convenient is that!!!😀

      I personally remove the trim piece and use dupli-colour trim and bumper paint. Brings the part back to brand new permanently unlike the temporary coatings

    Note to self.......don't eat snacks prior to watching this video.......bug guts and peanuts don't go good with each other.

    What's the last thing that goes through a bug's mind when it hits your vehicle? It's ass!
    Nice work.. I love P&S products an use them extensively in my detailing.

    Do you have a bug remover you recommend for matte finish paint? Is P&S compatible?

    If you have to do a hand wash anyways, what's the point of the spray process ? Seems like a waste of time to me 🤔 ...

    I’ll have to try. My protocol has always been sonax bug sponge / gyeon bug solution.
    As you said these products like literally dissolve bug guts

    Should try that attachment for the foamer that basically is a small compressor hooking directly in to the foamer

    The ppf is to protect the paint from chips and scratches if it stains but stops the chipping than its still worth it , it can be replaced.

    What he is not telling is that this method will only work if you treat the bugs right away. Meaning, you drive and without delay go straight into bug removal. If you allow them to stay there, it’s much harder, again, meaning: hand scrub.

    • @OutofSpecDetailing
      @OutofSpecDetailing  Рік тому +3

      Incorrect. This process works even with stuck on bugs, no “scrubbing” required. But light agitation with a wash mitt will help, just as washing the rest of the panels.

      @@OutofSpecDetailing you got me really interested. Btw - it’s not hate rage, I think you do amazing detailing, really. Now, do you mean the process of foaming with the product? What about the product? They are all quite the same, will that work in similar way?

    • @OutofSpecDetailing
      @OutofSpecDetailing  Рік тому +1

      So, if you have stubborn bugs that don’t come off during first “Bug off” application & pressure wash, reapply Bug Off, foam the car with car wash soap and hand wash as you would during a full wash!

    Hey Colton, Thanks for all of the pro tips. I was wondering if you can guide me to a product to use on my Rivian's lower black plastic rocker panels? I am having difficulty keeping them clean and keeping the black black. Is there a protectant that will help preserve the appearance? Thanks in advance! Jamie
