no, it wasn't. It's just be audio of the video not being sync correctly. Listen to the original mix. Reggie is singing in a different way in this one.
Later edit: as per Flight Facilities on facebook "It's not lipsynced. We touched up the audio for the MSO CD to improve the sound quality. The music bowl can be kinda boomy. Then it was laid back over the footage, which is why it looks and sounds so clean. That, and some of these shots are compiled from different points throughout the night. If there's one thing we don't need Reggie to do, it's lipsync"

I've had a revelation.
Okay so you know how people are pissed that he's lip syncing, which I was as well. But his act live is to look normal while making noise - maybe lip syncing live was part of the reggie watts Act?
I know it's still a bad excuse even if it's the case but you could argue that we can hear it's his voice and a different one from the studio so he has technically done it live and he can hit those notes, as well as sounding better to the audience at the end.
That's why he just full on gave up the act at the end maybe. I dunno #stonedthoughts

From what I can remember, the live album was a different recording to this live performance footage and they dubbed that over instead of using the audio from the video recording.

@@seankiesling2054 not the whole track. have a look 21 sec from end note hand and mic placement. Dead give away of studio overdub or backing track use or using different take or different visual song end.. Ruined its authenticity for me of incredible vocalist and amazing show.

Man worst lip synch. Reggie, if it was your decision I'm disappointed! The mic wasn't even near your mouth for half the performance. Then running to the violinist you stop singing all together yet the tunes still belt out.
