I suggest you do ph d. After Ph D in PBG you can join R& D in private seed company. Alternatively you can try for scientists in ICAR or Asstt Professor in agriculture universities
The ICAR has divided Horticulture in five sub subjects ie Pomology, Floriculture, Olericulture, plantation, landscape etc. If you are interested in Horticulture you can prefer olericulture or pomology. However I prefer Agronomy and Horticulture may be second choice.
